Denver’s Underground Music Showcase is Back!
Denver’s Underground Music Showcase, the city’s largest music festival, is back with over 100 bands playing at more than a dozen venues in downtown Denver. Over the weekend of August 27-29, an eclectic lineup of artists spanning an impressive range of genres of music will take over with concerts, performances, and a little something for everyone. It’s a chance for Denver’s thriving music scene to pair local artists alongside international stars of the indie music scene.
For 20 years, UMS has brought festival goers to bars, restaurants, and smaller venues to enjoy and discover an enormous variety of music and artists. Last year’s pandemic situation forced them to stream the concerts online. This year brings the live energy back to Broadway, with headliners including the indie rock outfit Pinegrove, the funky soul female vocalist Remi Wolf, Stones Throw Records’ eccentric R&B ambassador Dam-Funk, among many others. The strength of UMS is the different styles of music and international music represented on the lineup that gives anyone attending plenty of digging to discover their next favorite act. Their curated embrace of the underground and the vast array of genres is something you don’t want to miss! Get your tickets from their website here! Looking forward to the show.
