GRiZ Makes His Come Back!

GRiZ is back! Yes, you read that right GRiZ IS BACK! He announced his return to the music scene today via an Instagram video post. (Cue the Swifty level deep dive into the Easter eggs in this video.) The video starts with him riding a blue tractor in an open field. He pulls up to some hay bails, jumps off the tractor, puts on headphones, starts a song, and then begins moving the hay bails. He then turns on the tractor, the song says “I’m back!’ and in GRiZ fashion, he starts doing donuts in the field on the tractor. The video concludes with GRiZ looking into the camera and stating “Back to work” and the hay bails spelling out 10.10.25-10.12.25.

What does this video mean? Don’t worry I spent multiple hours watching and rewatching the video and scouring the internet so you don’t have to! DISCLAIMER: This is all a theory and not yet confirmed by GRiZ or his team! I believe that he will be hosting a 3-day camping festival somewhere in Virginia (or Phoenixville, PA because that’s where Seven Stars Farm is located)! At the beginning of the video while GRiZ is on the tractor there is a logo for the “Seven Stars General Store” and he is wearing a hat with the same logo. What is Seven Stars General Store? Great question! It’s an online store that sells some pretty random things which we will get to. I want to start at the home page. The first thing listed is a phone number with a 434 area code, which belongs to a portion of Virginia, which is where GRiZ has previously hosted Space Camp for two years.

The home page details Seven Stars’ grand opening which takes place on October 10-12 2025. Coincidence? I think not! If you keep scrolling on the home page there is a photo of an oddly familiar blue tractor in a field that looks just like the ones depicted in the video

Moving to the “About Us” page there is a lot of information about the more-than-average country store and what it has to offer. This portion of the site goes on to detail the mystical background of the land and the store itself. The store itself will provide everything a local or a traveler would possibly need during the season change. The page continues on with what, I’m perceiving to be a riddle that indicates a music festival where we are all welcome. There are a few references to Detroit which indicated to me that GRiZ is behind this website. Closing the “About Us” page is the philosophy of the store which states “The journey is the destination” and sometimes, the best destinations are found off the beaten path. We believe in slowing down, appreciating the simple things, and finding a little magic in the every day and we’re here to help you do just that.”

So what do these Easter eggs lead me to believe? As I mentioned before I think this website and the video are telling us that there is a 3-day camping festival! All of the mentions of being under the stars is what leads me the believe this will be a camping festival. This brings me to the random stuff that is for sale on the store’s website. I believe these items tell us about some other artists that will be at this festival. There is a lion that looks like a disco ball. I think this represents Disco Lines. A bread basket is clearly Daily Bread. The car freshener represents Of the Trees. Here’s where things get a little harder. The Velveeta cheese would represent Quantum Queso or Subtronics. The Abacus is a game of counting which makes me think of Hamdi. Finally, there are stamps for sale which, in my mind, represent Levity because of their song Postman.

As I stated earlier, this is all my guess from internet sleuthing, and hoping with my whole heart to be able to attend GRiZ’s return! Will you be there too?
