Hope To See You At Moon River!

I can’t believe it’s already September! Where did summer even go? It seems like only yesterday I was packing up for Bonnaroo, but alas the seasons are shifting around us. However, no tears need to be shed because festivals are still in full swing post-pandemic with Moon River happening this coming weekend in Chattanooga. This two-day city festival presented by Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors has a lot to offer with a stacked lineup including The National, Leon Bridges, Band of Horses, Local Natives, Zach Bryan, Greensky Bluegrass, Maggie Rose, Briston Maroney, Wild Rivers, and the hosts themselves. This will be the first time I will see The National and Greensky Bluegrass, and I’m holding out hope for Khruangbin to do a guest appearance with Leon because of our missed connection at Sacred Rose (IYKYK).

Outside of the music, Moon River offers a variety of activities to keep the whole family entertained. Don’t want to miss the big game? WISEACRE Brewing Company will be streaming games all weekend at the Lookout Lodge. Got the kiddos with you? Check out The Treehouse for a slew of family-friendly activities and even a chance to sing with Ellie Holcomb. Want to get your drink on? Ole Smokey Distillery will be posted up serving amazing cocktails in addition to White Claws being dished around for some lighter sips. And there are many more surprises awaiting everyone at this year’s festival not to mention this all happens right along the beautiful Tennessee River.

As my birthday was this past weekend, I am looking forward to spending a music-filled weekend in Chattanooga to celebrate another trip around the sun! This will be my 38th festival overall and the seventh one I’ve worked press for this year. I’m sure I’ll find some magic at my first even Moon River festival, and look forward to seeing you there, too! Tickets are still available for both days including single-day tickets. Consider taking a trip down South (or up South in my case coming from Atlanta)!
