Indy 500 Snake Pit: 2019 Set Schedule

This year marks the 103rd annual Indianapolis 500-mile race which will take place on May 26th at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). The Indy 500 Snake Pit has brought some of the hottest EDM artists out to perform over the last few years. Past artist to headline the event include, Deadmau5, Diplo, Zedd, Marshmello, RL Grim, Martin Garrix, Zeds Dead, Kaskade, and Steve Aoki.  

Indy 500 & Snake Pit History

The iconic Indy 500 is considered a bucket list event to many racing & sports fans around the world. It is one of just three races in the world that must be won to earn the prestigious Triple Crown Motorsport title. The race is held at the world’s second oldest Motorsport track, The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Speedway (IMS). IMS also proudly holds the title of being the world’s largest sporting venue with the ability to seat just over 257,000 fans. The Snake Pit infield celebration began in the 1920s but really made an infamous mark on history in the 1970s before dying off in the 90s. It began making a comeback in 2015 with its EDM celebration. Killer Line Up & Set Schedule

Skrillex, Alesso, Illenium, & Chris Lake will be headlining the memorial day event this year. Who are you most excited to see? Personally, I love Illenium, maybe even more than life itself, BUT I am BEYOND excited to see Skrillex! I’ve been to over 30 music festivals & EDM concerts & have yet to see him play. With that being said, I’m really stoked to see Chris Lake, Alesso & Illenium as they have NEVER disappointed me either! The daily schedule was recently posted to Instagram!

Ticketing & Need-to-know

First & foremost you MUST have BOTH a race ticket & a separate Snake Pit ticket in order to get into Snake Pit. Currently, they have two combo deals. GA race & GA Snake Pit admission for $85. GA race & VIP Snake Pit admission for $190. VIP Snake Pit includes designated VIP viewing areas & private bar. Already have race day tickets but need a Snake Pit ticket? No worries, they have those too. GA for $50 & VIP for $155. Ticket prices are going to increase literally any day now so I wouldn’t wait! Go get yours here.
