It’s Finally Ubbi Dubbi Month. It’s Texas Festival Time!

Ubbi Dubbi Returns to Texas

Ubbi Dubbi comes to the Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth Texas April 24th and 25th. Big hitters like Kaskade, Illenium, Seven Lions, and a host of local greats are sure to show out at this first major festival of 2021. Whether onsite or staying close, we’ve all been waiting for a camping festival to take over our weekend, and soon some brave Texans will be enjoying the sun and sounds of Ubbi Dubbi. Make sure you take our safety precautions survey HERE!

The usual guidelines have been issued: no large sound systems, no totems over 10 feet, no pets. Curiously missing from the rules are any guidelines about masks or social distancing. A blog post from March 4 indicates Ubbi Dubbi has partnered with CLEAR and “Health Pass”. What this means in practice is a mystery, though “masks up” might be an unenforced encouragement. Three weeks out and we might assume festival organizers are still figuring out what’s the best bet for festival-goers and the event. Check out The Festival Voice’s recent article on Ubbi Dubbi’s quick return to the scene and the cost of hosting a pandemic-era fest for more.

Other venues around the country are considering waivers, COVID rules, and more, but Texas is standalone in revoking mask requirements statewide. This means masks and more will be voluntary at Ubbi Dubbi, and maybe that’s a good idea for this crowd. Whatever happens in Texas this Spring, we can be sure it will act as a litmus test for the rest of the festival season that so many are ready for. Get your costumes ready, your dancing shoes on, and your crew hyped for Ubbi Dubbi 2021!
