Sunny Lax shares his End Of Our Time EP on Anjunabeats
Who knew this EP would be so ironically titled? Don’t worry- while it is the end of our time, better things are to come! A staple at Anjunabeats since 2006, Hungarian producer Levente Márton (aka Sunny Lax) writes a new chapter with the release of a new EP: End Of Our Time. If you’re a trance lover, this one is for you!
Sunny Lax penned the title before world events took a turn for the worse. The five-track EP celebrates all aspects of the Sunny Lax sound in 2020. Opening with the tranquil ‘If I Knew It Was The Last Time’, Sunny then serves up a salvo of club monsters in ‘Close To Me’, ‘Angels With Filthy Souls’ and ‘Mother’. The journey concludes on the Porter Robinson-esque ’Stay’, featuring EL Waves. Porter Robinson? Count me in! I would have to agree, this track illuminates Porter-esque qualities.
“When I titled my EP ‘End Of Our Time’, I never thought it would reflect on the current global events. But I don’t believe in coincidences. I truly believe this is the end of our time as we knew before, and we’re at the beginning of something new and better. I believe we all will realise and redefine the true values of life, and come out of this together and stronger.” – Sunny Lax
We couldn’t agree more! And if our time is now, Sunny’s playing us out with a bang. The End Of Our Time EP is out now on Anjunabeats. Start your drooling, folks!
