It’s Ultra Down Under!

Who says Miami should get to have all of the fun? ULTRA Australia is back and better than ever with TWO incredible locations on the Australian coast. Unlike its Miami counterpart, ULTRA Australia dates are single-day festivals but still bring all of the energy for an incredible experience. Previous lineups have boasted massive names such as Afrojack, Martin Garrix, and Eric Prydz as well as local favorites in the Aussie EDM scene. This year is no different with a star-studded lineup of 13 international acts and 23 Australian artists to thrill crowds in Gold Coast and Melbourne.

Gold Coast EDM lovers rejoice as ULTRA Beach Gold Coast hosts its inaugural event at the Broadwater Parklands on Friday, April 12th. With a single stage set up, the iconic ULTRA “U” will have the perfect backdrop of Southport to set the mood. The level of excitement from Gold Coast residents was clearly reflected in how quickly all tiers of tickets sold out nearly two months prior to the date! With heavy hitters such as Armin Van Buuren, Steve Aoki, and Zedd taking the stage, it’s no wonder why people jumped at the opportunity to dance under the Australian sun at the beachside venue.

Melbourne is no stranger to ULTRA events as they host their 5th year at a new location, the Flemington Racecourse on April 14th, 2024. While the lineup boasts the same headliners as the Gold Coast edition, Melbourne has the addition of the legendary Carl Cox joining for an extra dose of house and techno. The Melbourne date adds the much-beloved Resistance stage and UMF Radio stage for festival goers to split their time between as they soak up the last few rays of summertime. Australia is no stranger to hardstyle music events and ULTRA is no different as they host an entire stage dedicated to the genre.

Previous years have been praised for the organization and planning that goes into the event and with the recent cancellations of other Australian festivals, ravers are hoping for another easy year to make up for it. Past patrons have been able to enjoy chill-out zones, and food from local vendors to keep the good vibes going. Even in 2023 when the weather was less than stellar, festivalgoers still jumped at the opportunity to enjoy a day of dance music. Australia can be a hike from most corners of the globe, so to see such an incredible mix of headliners coming together for 2 days down under, it’s no wonder there’s so much hype around the lineup! Tickets are still on sale for Melbourne, but you’ve got to act fast if you want to be part of yet another memorable year for ULTRA Australia!
