DIESEL Shares Mesophonic
On January 5th, a packed venue with over 4,000 fans, and up comes 11-year-old Mesophonic, sharing the stage with none other than DIESEL (Shaquille O’Neal).
In a move that had everyone cheering, DIESEL introduced this young, talented DJ to the massive crowd and even featured him in a live mix of his original track. It was a remarkable moment, showcasing the magic that happens when a rising star meets a seasoned legend.
Dirtybird Records – Best of the Birdfeed Vol. 4
Dirtybird Records is starting the New Year with a slate of fresh faces and the fourth installment of its Best of the Birdfeed compilation. Serving as the label’s first release of 2024, Best of the Birdfeed Vol. 4 marks almost 10 years of their Birdfeed website and subscription service, which offers exclusive releases, event and merch discounts, games and rewards, and is the hub for all things Dirtybird.

Distinct Motive – Mellow Man

DJ Glen – Fanfare
Brazilian producer DJ Glen returns to the label with ‘Fanfare’ out now via Dirtybird Records.
Closing out the year with a raucous, ‘Fanfare’ is a fitting title for DJ Glen’s latest original. Lunar New Year Festival
Pulse Events has just announced the second edition of Spring Festival: Lunar New Year Celebration taking place from Sunday, February 18 to Monday, February 19, 2024. The event will return to Avant Gardner in Brooklyn, NY for a full venue takeover, celebrating both the Chinese New Year and the beginning of spring on the Lunar calendar.
Pulse Events has recruited two industry-leading acts to headline the second edition of Spring Festival: Lunar New Year Celebration:SLANDER and Alan Walker.

Peter Hook & The Light Tour
Peter Hook & The Light set off on a massive run of live shows in 2024, taking in full tours of Australia and New Zealand, North America and the UK and Ireland. The live dates will see the band play the Substance albums by Joy Division and New Order in full. Peter Hook first revisited the seminal Joy Division album Unknown Pleasures back in May 2010 for a commemorative charity concert and has followed it each year by performing subsequent albums from the repertoire of his bands, Joy Division and New Order. Peter Hook & The Light have since moved through each of those albums, culminating in the Factory Records Substance compilations, and recently celebrated over four decades of the continuing influence of Joy Division and Ian Curtis with the “Joy Division: A Celebration” concerts where both of the band’s albums were played in full. Poolside Tour
Launching January 19 in Santa Barbara, CA, the 22 date ‘Blame It All On Love Tour’ will take Poolside’s Jeffrey Paradise–who can be found on guitar / vocals / synths – and bandmates Vito Roccoforte (The Rapture / Body Music) on drums, Mattie Safer (The Rapture / Lovetempo) on bass / vocals, Casey Butler (Pharaohs) on saxophone / lap steel / percussion / vocals and Alton San Giovanni (Alton Allen) – guitar / vocals across the continent in support of his latest music. On Poolside’s fourth studio album Blame It All On Love (Ninja Tune/Counter Records), Paradise leaves the shallows and enters the depths of his own creative voice. Subtronics Tour
Genre-bending bass music artist Subtronics kicks off the TESSERACT Tour this February– his most impressive run to date, as he brings the show to 13 cities over 16 unforgettable nights. Drawing inspiration from the “tesseract,” a geometric marvel known in fourth-dimensional geometry as a 16-cell cube, Subtronics – who has a tattoo of a tesseract on his arm channeled his fascination into an innovative stage design accompanied by breathtaking visual elements. The tour launches with a spectacular two-night weekend at the Armory in Minneapolis on February 16 and 17 before heading to arenas and pavilions across the country. The TESSERACT Tour will include special guest Wooli plus support from HEDEX, Saka, Jon Casey, Distinct Motive, Automhate, SuperAve. and Skellytn.

WORSHIP Tour
WORSHIP, the U.K. collective consisting of Beatport’s top best-selling and most-streamed drum & bass artists Sub Focus and Dimension, along with Culture Shock and 1991, will embark on its third and biggest North American tour this March. The seismic tour will have the collective perform in eight major cities building on the success of their previous sold-out continental tours in 2020 and 2023. The WORSHIP NORTH AMERICA 2024 tour will begin in San Jose on March 15, culminating in the final show at the legendary Palladium in Los Angeles on March 30.
