Happy March 4th!
We’re happy to be back this week with all of the hottest releases! Honestly, our weekly roundup feature is getting so massive- I wonder if we should keep it as is or if we should create a separate post for events/news? As you can see, we have several events at the top of this post. Thoughts? I’m thinking we could have an event announcements post as well as the roundup. Hmm- it’s a thought to ponder! Keep in mind, The Festival Voice is all about festivals and so we’ve been focusing our posts on that!

Inside Job/MNRK Music Group and Scottish working class punk band Cold Years are excited to announce the Friday, April 22 release of the band’s sophomore album, Goodbye To Misery, the ambitious follow-up to the band’s acclaimed debut, Paradise (2020). Recorded by Neil Kennedy (Creeper, Boston Manor, Milk Teeth) in May 2021 at The Ranch Studios in Southampton, Goodbye To Misery is 12 tracks born out of the want for a more positive future rather than the self-destruction and misery of its predecessor. “This record is us saying you can break away from those things that are bringing you down,” frontman Ross Gordon explains. “It’s about standing up for yourself and not letting anybody tell you what you should or shouldn’t be doing. It’s a defiant statement.”
LP Giobbi- Insomniac Presents Femme House
LP Giobbi is partnering with Insomniac Records to release the first-ever ‘Femme House’ compilation, an 11-track package built around the ethos of a platform focused on empowerment.
FEMME HOUSE is embodying part of its purpose in release form through its first official compilation. LP Giobbi baptizes the release with the lead cut, “Togetherness,” a soulful and imperative outcry for unification that finds frequent collaborator hermixalot spitting truth behind the podium. The rest of the album is split up between the organization’s beloved alumni and a few newcomers.

Following the release of “The Metal of My Hell,” WAR’s powerful and industrial-tinged lead single, “WAR” is a song that was written in 2017 during a dark moment in this country’s history.
ARMNHMR- Waiting on Love
Beloved dance music duo ARMNHMR today released their most personal body of work in years, bringing fans the anticipated five-track EP, ‘Waiting For Love.’ The project sees them wear their hearts on their sleeves in a sonically unbound love letter to those that battled loneliness during the pandemic. The title single opens with impassioned vocals from neverwaves that cascade into climactic breakdowns and anthemic melodies, a signature fusion for ARMNHMR. Recently released crowd-favourites also appear on the package, alongside new records “Can’t Let You Go” with Abandoned and RYNN, and “Lonely Nights” with Synymata and Medyk.
Slushii- ELE Album
Ushering in Monstercat’s first album release of 2022, globally renowned producer and DJ Slushii today revealed his 14-track masterpiece, ‘E.L.E (Extinction Level Event)’. Three years in the making, E.L.E sees Slushii reimagine his dubstep roots with trap-inspired beats, melodic bass, and a futuristic pop-fueled edge. From “ICE” with Rickyxsan to “ACID HAUS” with Trilla, it’s a collection of his most boundary-pushing sounds from the very beginning of his meteoric rise. Today’s breakout single, “Carousel” features award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter, Kiesza, offering her earworm vocals on the synth-laden adrenaline ride.
Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs – A Dream I Have (Damian Lazarus remix)

This time around, the renowned powerhouse effortlessly builds anticipation for the imminent release of his highly-anticipated ‘Arrival’ EP and spring U.S. tour, and is joined alongside vocalist JT Roach, who provides his harmoniously rich, textured singing throughout the track’s entirety. Out now via Proximity, ‘Spinnin’ Wheels’ is available to listen to across all streaming platforms.
Zerb – DNACID
Zerb celebrates Acid House Day on STMPD RCRDS with his brand new release ‘DNACID’. The track is perfect for Zerb’s return to the clubs while also containing some references to the history of electronic music with TB-303 inspired synths and vocals taken from a late 80s interview about Acid House. Stemming from a BBC interview, the vocals feature alienated answers from people in London who were asked about their knowledge of Acid House on the street. Putting an end to the prejudice against electronic music for once and for all, DNACID is a true crowd shaker that’s ready to take over the club scene.
Leonardo Das Cabrio – Look At You
Wanting to create a catchy club track, Leonardo Das Cabrio definitely succeeded with their new STMPD RCRDS release ‘Look At You’. Inspired by songs from artists like Park Hye Jin and Yeji, the simple but effective approach gives the track a fresh and fun sound.
