Meet! Festival announces to return to Punta Cana in 2022 with Shaun Reeves, Franky Rizardo + many more
Have you been to Punta Cana yet? I went on a vacation a few years ago and let me tell you- it is an amazing location! Meet! Festival sounds like a dream. You can expect endless clear blue seas, gently swaying palm trees, secluded cenotes, and lush green jungle. Meet! Festival is the brainchild of influential underground label Yet! Records. This was a landmark festival for the history of dance music in the Dominican Republic. It has already helped to consolidate the local scene as an ideal place for industry professionals to enjoy a musical escape in paradise. It is designed as a meeting place for friends old and new (hence the name Meet!), somewhere to hang out and soak up the vibes, a space to further the scene and develop new ideas. What a great idea!
There are some big names partners up with Meet! For example, this includes Spanish/Dominican label YET Records, event production specialists Bunker Prodrucciones and CLAMP, who since 2014 have been at the heart of the local scene, establishing themselves as icons of the culture and production of electronic music events in the Dominican Republic. Underground label, Happy Techno, independent label Phantom Deck, Uruguayan heavyweights La Terraza, audio-visual pioneers The Pink Flamingo’s and Punta Cana promoters Verano Desert also help make Meet! Festival a reality.
Ready To Join The Party?
The party kicks off on Thursday, April 14th! There will be day time and sunset parties kicking off from the Saturday at Soles Chill Out Bar, a classic in the Dominican Republic scene located in the middle of Bavaro Beach. You’ll fall in love with the incredible main stage, which will be located at the Radisson Blu throughout the weekend. This is an all-inclusive 5* star boutique hotel with private beach plus 6 restaurants, a spa, a gym, and a large swimming pool, offering a range of accommodation options at different budgets, and there will also be late night after parties and secret events to keep everyone dancing through the night.
As well as the music, there is a wealth of fun to be had including the ATV Buggy Tour on which you can visit Cabo Engaño, the easternmost cape where the Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean, as well as a mega-splash zip-line, swimming with dolphins and plenty more.
Meet! Festival is all set to return to the Caribbean with a bang and will undoubtedly become a bucket list event for many years to come.
