Moon River Approaches With Tickets Still Available

After spending my birthday at Disney World, my next stop is approaching this coming weekend, Chattanooga’s Moon River Festival presented by Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors. This two-day weekend festival in Coolidge Park next to the Tennessee River is a gem. You can re-enter the festival, allowing easy access to a boardwalk full of bars, restaurants, and various boutiques. Last year I scored a White Stripes record from a store right next to the festival and was able to put the record in my parked car before re-entering because the surrounding area is very walkable.

A big change has happened with the lineup. CAAMP has recently dropped off the lineup after canceling the rest of their 2023 tour due to health reasons. This is tragic news for fans of the band who have not seen them yet on this tour. Their replacement, NEEDTOBREATHE, is a southern rock outfit from Seneca, South Carolina that has been around since 2001. They will be a fun way to round out the night after a stacked undercard including The Dip, flipturn, and Houndmouth.

The festival recently announced that missed-payment layaway tickets have been made available on the Moon River Festival website. Two-day general admission tickets are $230 and VIP tickets are $600. Considering the festival has been sold out since the lineup announcement, this is all short of a miracle. Even single-day tickets are still available with general admission at $125 and VIP at $340. If Chattanooga is considered a day trip from where you live, consider hitting up this festival if you aren’t already going. It’s a wholesome family-friendly festival with college football viewing and tons of great music.

I hope to see y’all at Moon River!
