Douran- Sundancer

Paris-based producer and live act Douran makes his Anjunadeep debut with the three-track EP ‘Sundancer’. His first two EPs, ‘Avalanche EP’ and ‘Rave To Infinity EP’, have amassed over 3m+ streams worldwide and gained press support including DJ Mag (France), Magnetic Magazine and Clash Magazine. 
 
Title track ‘Sundancer’ opens the EP, with soft piano melodies and ambient strings. ‘Slow Burner’ leads with an array of emotive strings whilst ‘Passing Lights’ features percussive-laden rhythms and warming vocals. Douran’s latest showcases his cinematic production style.

Sam Day- One More Night feat. Meggie York

After appearing on bitbird’s 2021 ‘create together vol. 2‘ compilation, London-based producer, Sam Day, returns to the label with a warm, melodic, and poppy dance tune called “One More Night (ft. Meggie York),” out today on bitbird. 

The new lyrical single reminiscences about a fleeting relationship set to a playful drum & bass pattern. Featuring several anthemic builds, the tune is a perfect party-starter as it’s hard to resist the urge to move along to the bouncing and catchy beat. Drakulas- Dark Black

Drakulas, the art-rock band from Austin, TX, are excited to release the music video for “Dark Black” from the band’s Stuart Sikes (The White Stripes, Rocket From The Crypt)-produced full-length album, Terminal Amusements, out now on Dine Alone Records. Speaking of the video, frontman Mike Wiebe said: “’Dark Black’ was partially shot with Russian lenses on a pre-glastnost camera. With nods to the early short films of Kalvakec from the early Factory scene, the video captures the esoterica of the song’s subject matter: a drug-addled megalomaniacal videographer trying to play analog in a digital world. Directed by TV’s Daniel during various levels of quarantine in an uncertain world, it was one of the few enjoyable things that happened during the pandemic.”

Party Favor- Whenever You’re Around

As the follow up to his 2021 singles “Save Me” and “Losing My Mind” featuring Elohim, “Whenever You’re Around” is a low-bass sophisticated rump-shaker. Says Party Favor, “This song first started life as a session with my friend Drew Love way back before the pandemic. It was super pop-leaning and we both loved it but never really ended up doing anything with the idea, but over the past year as I was working on all this new music, I remembered the vocal and reopened the project. I was able to totally flip and resample Drew’s voice into something completely removed from where it started, and I turned it into what I think of as this crazy hybrid mashup of genres and parts of ‘Party Favor.’ This is one of my favorite records on this new project and I love how it morphed from how it started to where it’s at now. The song has taken on a new life and the meaning of it is darker in tone about how we often times aren’t present in our relationships and focus on people and things only when they benefit us in the moment. And also it bangs- Hope you dig it!”
