October 9th Weekly Roundup Feature
Happy October 9th! What are you looking forward to this month? Personally, I’m checking out Dirt Monkey, Conrank, and Hydraulix this month. I’m excited to headbang my stress away because I’m currently working on moving! Keep following The Festival Voice for more festival news! Anyway, here’s our weekly roundup feature. The latest to come from Doorn’s moniker directly follows up ‘Faces’ from this August, in addition to a slew of 2020 releases such as ‘Flanging’, ‘Strangers Thing’, ‘Rosy’, ‘The Purpose’, and ‘The King’s Court’. Emerging talent, Couros, is back with his first original release since his 2018 EP, Young. California singer-songwriter Matt Costa is pleased to announce the release of the Deluxe version of his acclaimed 2020 full-length album Yellow Coat. Out today, the collection features five new live recordings of tracks from the album along with “When The Avalanche Comes” featuring Jack Johnson and Zach Gill (purchase and stream HERE). Costa had the following to share about the album and the collaborations: “The performances around ‘Yellow Coat’ have been some of my favorites to date, from revisiting old tunes and making Candid or elaborate videos with visual artist Minh Pham to inviting some very influential songwriters to sing with me.
