We’re sharing our ultimate New Year’s Eve Guide with tons of things to do by location! This list won’t have EVERY event across the country, but we’re happy to share some of our favorite events with you! This will be updated as we get a chance or hear about new festivals.
Claude VonStroke Your Dad Plays New Year’s Eve- San Francisco
Celebrating over 15 years of Dirtybird, 2022 has seen Claude VonStroke return to his roots and the small, off-kilter dance floors that shaped his sound with his ‘Your Dad Plays Great Music Tour’. Over the course of five iterations and 39 dates, Claude VonStroke has taken this intimate experience to clubs in every nook and cranny of North America and beyond. From secret warehouses in California to dirty dance floors in Florida, the Dirtybird founder and label head spent over 250 hours (or 15,000 minutes) bringing the gritty house and experimental techno sounds fans have grown to know and love.

Countdown New Year’s Eve- San Bernadino, CA
It’s the final countdown to 2023 and we are just as psyched as you are! Get ready for one of the biggest and best Insomniac parties of the year, Countdown! If you don’t know already, Countdown is bringing you to a brand new dimension with the Rize of the Ravebotz and some of the biggest names in EDM. It’s a New Year’s Eve Invasion… so you had better be ready for all of the shenanigans Insomniac has up their sleeves. They always bring the party!

CRANE- Birmingham, UK
CRSSD Proper NYE- San Diego, CA
If you are ready for a brand new event that’s going to knock your socks off, look no further than PROPER NYE! The legendary FNGRS CRSSD has announced the lineup for its newest event PROPER NYE, which is a two-day, three stage event set to ring in the new year in San Diego. Sounds like a blast! The team is riding high on the heels of a sold out Fall edition of CRSSD Festival. PROPER NYE brings over 20 of electronic music’s biggest and most in-demand names to Gallagher Square and the field at Petco Park for a dual New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day celebration. The event will deliver the same forward-thinking, top tier house and techno curation the FNGRS CRSSD brand is known for. It is going to be such a grand New Year!

Decadence- Denver, Colorado
We’re huge fans of Decadence Colorado (and Arizona for that matter!). Our team typically covers these festivals yearly, and we can’t wait to go about it again! If you aren’t familiar, Decadence Colorado is the BIGGEST New Year’s Eve EDM Party in the entire country. We’re talking the most attendees and the biggest and best artists. It all happens December 30th and 31st in downtown Denver at the Colorado Convention Center. This year’s theme is The Digital City and we’re HYPED for the experience!

Decadence- Phoenix, Arizona
Presented in partnership with Global Dance, the eighth annual event will take place at Phoenix Raceway December 30 and 31, closing out the year with top-level production, the return of the Weird and Wonderful performers, activations throughout the grounds, and more.

Dreamscape
Following the success of Ganzo X, Hotel El Ganzo’s ten-year anniversary celebration over Halloween weekend, the revered creative enclave in beautiful San José del Cabo, Mexico returns with another immersive experience, this time taking over the property and nearby venues for a very special New Year’s Eve soirée from December 29th – January 1st. Coined DREAMSCAPE, the event will welcome travelers, music fans, and adventurers to bring in 2023 amongst incredible live performances and DJ sets with beach parties, gourmet food, art installations, a Saturday night party at the revered venue Crania, and more.

Get into some crazy hijinx with your pals at HiJinx Festival! This is one of the best festivals to ring in the New Year and it all goes down in Philly! Grab those tickets right away! This festival is a little different in that it actually takes place on the 29th and 30th of December!

Lights All Night- Dallas, Texas
Lights All Night is coming back to Dallas and we’re so hyped! Head down to Dallas on December 29th and 30th for a proper celebration for the New Year!

Markus Schulz
This New Year’s Eve (Saturday, December 31, 2022), AVALON Hollywood will ring in the new year with a performance by Markus Schulz. This will be the sixth consecutive New Year’s Eve Event with the globally renowned DJ excluding 2020 when Avalon was closed due to the pandemic. Schulz will play a twelve hour long set from 9pm to 9am with a huge balloon drop and countdown at midnight. Tickets can be purchased here.
OMFG- San Diego, CA
Get ready to say OMFG with this lineup! This will be one of the best New Year’s Events in the area and we are so ready! San Diego is going to be dancing the night away!

Studio 338- North Greenwich, London, UK
After closing out another spectacular season with their biggest quartet of festive events yet Studio 338 is back with the best possible way to start the year and that’s with a proper Sankeys Rave. Since this will be the first one of the year, expect out of this world production made specially to kick off 2023 in style. Playing will be firm favourites including underground hero Steve Lawler, frequent chart topper and Hot Creations associate Bontan, trusty resident Andrew Kay, Italian party starter Pirupa plus Reece Hussain and Ollie Bentley.
