Returning to the festival this year are fan-favorite experiences like SOMA, back with its open-air format and a bold, reimagined design by Studio RRD under the creative direction of Iron Bloom. Drawing inspiration from the elemental symbolism of triangles and pyramids, this year’s stage merges striking geometric aesthetics with the pulsating energy of house and techno. Nestled in the scenic landscape of Marx Meadow, SOMA 2025 invites festivalgoers into an all-encompassing world of light, sound, and motion—transforming the space into kinetic gateways for endless dancing. Enhanced with upgraded audio systems, cutting-edge lighting, and immersive visuals, SOMA is crafted for full sensory engagement—wherever you find yourself. Check out SOMA’s vibrant new design here. Attendees will move to the beat beneath the sun and stars with high-energy sets from the biggest names in house and techno, including Nico Moreno, who brings his powerful psytrance sound to the mix. Additional performers include Black Coffee, Claude VonStroke, Floating Points, and more.

Returning for its third year, the beloved Dolores’ stage remains a beacon of inclusivity and celebration. This vibrant and welcoming dance floor honors queer and trans communities and the DIY roots that help define San Francisco’s cultural identity. Daily lineups—curated by local nightlife legends FAKE and GAY, OASIS ARTS, and Polyglamorous—will be announced soon and feature a diverse mix of local DJs, drag artists, and performers you won’t want to miss.

Also returning is Outside Lands City Hall, the one-of-a-kind wedding venue within the festival grounds. This year introduces new enhancements, from private receptions in Wine Lands to luxe add-ons like cabanas and box suites. Tucked into the Eucalyptus grove of McLaren Pass, City Hall offers a serene setting for couples to say “I do,” renew their vows, or simply celebrate love throughout the weekend. All guests are welcome to stop by and witness these meaningful ceremonies. A portion of City Hall proceeds will benefit Lambda Legal, an organization dedicated to advancing LGBTQ+ civil rights through legal advocacy and education.

This year, the ultra-premium Golden Gate Club will feature extraordinary culinary experiences from acclaimed chefs including Melissa King, Tyler Florence of Miller & Lux, and Dana Younkin & Nancy Oakes of Boulevard. The Golden Gate Club delivers the ultimate VIP experience, complete with prime front-of-stage viewing, exclusive golf cart service, signature cocktails, and a curated menu from Bay Area culinary icons.

As always, Outside Lands showcases top-tier culinary experiences. This will make the festival an unforgettable cultural gathering.
