Artist Biography

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are one of the most audacious and genre-defying bands to emerge from the Australian rock scene. Formed in 2010 in Melbourne, this six-piece band has spent over a decade pushing the boundaries of what’s possible within the realms of psychedelic rock, jazz, metal, and beyond. Led by the enigmatic Stu Mackenzie, along with Ambrose Kenny-Smith, Cook Craig, Joey Walker, Lucas Skinner, and Michael Cavanagh, King Gizzard has become known for their prodigious output, relentless creativity, and live performances that blur the line between art and chaos.
