Artist Biography
Guest Bio Written By: Kari Saunders
North Carolina native, Renee Rapp, is a multi-talented performer who’s graced the Broadway stage, tv and movie screens and now The Farm. After nabbing “Best Performance by an Actress” at the 2018 Jimmy Awards (practically the Tony Awards for high schoolers), she was offered the role of Regina George in the musical adaption of Mean Girls by Tina Fey herself. She went on to appear on Netflix’s The Sex Lives of College Girls, all while working on her music. She reprised her role as Regina in the 2024 Mean Girls film.
Her first charting single, “Too Well,” from her extended play, Everything to Everyone, and debut album, Snow Angel, brought critical and commercial success, and her collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion for the Mean Girls film, “Not My Fault,” charted both in the US and internationally.
You can expect an absolute powerhouse vocal performance paired with her signature biting wit when she hits the stage at Roo. Her lyrics are raw and personal, and her mix of soul and technically supreme voice make for a knock-out combo. This GLAAD Media Awards’ 2024 Outstanding Music Artist is sure to bring it.
