Artist Biography

Lovejoy is an indie rock band from England spearheaded by Wilbur Soot aka Will Gold. Wilbur became an internet celebrity in the late 2010s via his popular video channels including comedic reaction videos, meme discussions, and streaming video games. He released some humorous solo songs such as “Your New Boyfriend” in 2020 which ended up charting in the U.K. and Ireland. At the start of 2021, he formed Lovejoy with their EPs Are You Alright? and Pebble Brain released the same year. The latter EP charted throughout Europe and even made it across the pond to the Billboard 200. Lovejoy has since released two more EPs in 2023 but has not produced a full album yet.
