Artist Biography

Nikita, the Wicked is the San Francisco–based electronic producer and DJ Nikita Madorsky, whose darkly cinematic approach to bass and trap music has rapidly pushed him into the vanguard of underground dance culture by blending forward-thinking production techniques with theatrical performance energy. Drawing on a background in future bass and influenced by innovators like Skrillex, ISOKNOCK, pluko, and Flume, Nikita crafts “beautiful darkness” — cinematic soundscapes where granular synthesis, heavy low-end design, and intricate percussion collide to evoke tension, release, and visceral impact across both headphones and festival systems. His catalog, anchored by impactful singles like “LIKE ME” on Gud Vibrations and collaborations with artists such as Darby, Louis The Child, and SVDKO, reflects a willingness to push genre boundaries while maintaining rhythmic rigor and textural richness. With festival debuts at Lost Lands, Project Glow, Infrasound, and more — and a persona described as the villain of dance music — Nikita’s live sets elevate his studio precision into immersive experiences, commanding dance floors with a blend of calculated chaos and engineered groove that embodies both the elegance and intensity at the heart of modern bass music.
