Artist Biography

Amber Mark is an R&B artist who pulls inspiration from a variety of genres including bossa nova and grunge. She was born in Tennessee to a German mother and a Jamaican father and ended up living in around the US as well as India and Germany. Amber started exploring music while in high school. In 2016, she debuted on SoundCloud with “S P A C E” and “Monsoon” with the latter crediting her mother who passed in 2013. After two successful EP releases that pulled inspiration from the grief of her mother’s passing, Amber co-wrote and sang lead on Chromeo’s “Just Friends” and got a Grammy nomination for the parent album Head Over Heels. After a series of successful features and single releases, she finally released her debut LP Three Dimensions Deep in 2022. Amber now has Bonnaroo in her sights.
