Artist Biography

Bilmuri, the solo project of Johnny Franck, has steadily crafted a unique space within the alternative rock, pop, and post-hardcore scenes since its inception in 2016. Franck, who initially rose to fame as the clean vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the metalcore band Attack Attack!, struck out on his own after leaving the band in 2010, bringing with him a diverse musical influence that would come to define Bilmuri’s sound.

The project blends elements of alternative rock with the raw intensity of post-hardcore and the catchy hooks of pop, creating a musical landscape that’s both accessible and emotionally charged. Bilmuri’s discography is a testament to Franck’s versatility as an artist, with standout releases like Wet Milk (2019) and American Motor Sports (2024). The latter album sees Franck collaborating with up-and-coming country artists like Mitchell Tenpenny and Dylan Marlowe, further demonstrating his range and ability to cross genre boundaries. These collaborations add a new layer to his sound, merging elements of pop-punk and country to create something entirely fresh.

Bilmuri’s music often explores themes of introspection and personal growth, delivering lyrics that resonate with listeners on a deeply emotional level.
