Artist Biography

RL Grime, born Henry Alfred Steinway on February 8, 1991, in Los Angeles, California, has emerged as a prominent figure in the electronic music scene. Initially known by his alias Clockwork, Steinway transitioned to the RL Grime moniker, under which he has achieved significant acclaim.

In 2012, RL Grime released his debut EP, Grapes, on the WeDidIt collective label, marking his entry into the electronic music landscape. This was followed by the High Beams EP in 2013, which debuted at No. 8 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart and No. 1 on the iTunes Electronic Chart.

His debut studio album, Void, released in 2014, showcased his versatility and solidified his position in the industry. In 2018, he released his second studio album, Nova, featuring collaborations with artists such as Miguel, Ty Dolla $ign, and 24hrs.

In February 2019, RL Grime announced the founding of his record label, Sable Valley, further establishing his influence in the electronic music community.

RL Grime continues to captivate audiences with his innovative productions and dynamic performances, solidifying his status as a leading figure in the electronic music scene.
