Seven Lions Teams Up With Crystal Skies On New Single “Sojourn”

After a set of explosive collaboration tracks with other well-known artists in the scene, Seattle-based producer Seven Lions still isn’t taking a break: he just released yet another breathtaking song, and this time he brought on up-and-coming Crystal Skies.

The name of the new track is “Sojourn”, meaning a temporary stay that is reached after a journey. And that is what this song is: a journey, a trip through evocative piano melodies, melodic dubstep, and even psytrance, blending together a variety of genres and ideas in an instrumental tune that won’t be easily forgotten.

Those who attended any of the dates of Seven Lions‘ last cross-country tour, The Journey 2, have probably heard this song already, seeing as it was the opening track. Definitely a nice walk down memory lane.

If you still can’t get enough of the amazing blended sound of Seven Lions and Crystal Skies, you might be happy to hear that they also released a joint mix just recently, as the 3rd installment of Seven Lions’ Observatory mixes. You can listen to it here.

The song was released through Ophelia Records, the official record label founded by Seven Lions in 2018. The label has also featured collaborations between Seven Lions and fellow artists Jason Ross, Dabin, Slander, Blastoyz, Kill The Noise, and more. Just last month, the first Ophelia Records compilation was released on limited-edition vinyl as well as digitally.
