History of World Pride Festival

EDM has well-documented and proud beginnings in the queer community, making WPFM a no-brainer. Capital Pride Festival, originally known as Gay Pride Day, and what started as a block party in 1975 has evolved majorly over 50 years. With humble beginnings and around 2000 attendees, the festival has become what we know and love today. With past performances and appearances by Billy Porter, Keke Palmer and Ava Max, World Pride ALWAYS delivers!

A Stacked Lineup

This year’s lineup is the most expansive it’s been with over 30 stellar performances. From Jennifer Lopez and Troye Sivan to Ru Paul, Sofi Tukker, and Trisha Paytas, this lineup has something for everyone! Three different stages will have neverending entertainment to offer as you celebrate Pride and what it means to you.
