Your Day Trip Excursion is Going To Change!

Well, Day Trip fam, your weekend plans may be changing… again! Day Trip was supposed to take place this weekend in LA county, but unfortunately, it will be unable to take place there. Never fear- Insomniac to the rescue! Pasquale pulled out all the stops to ensure a great weekend still happened, regardless of how terrible the situation is. You can check the video HERE!

The event has transitioned from near Sofi Stadium to the NOS Event Center in San Bernadino, California. According to Google Maps, that is 2 and a half hours away from one another. Well, that’s a game-changer. However, this isn’t the first time the event has moved! According to Facebook, the event moved from Berth 46 to Sofi Stadium just last week!!!

The new and improved Day Trip will have the same lineup and thankfully, the show is going to go on. I mean, it’s sad but this event is 100% free. It won’t be the same show as it isn’t near the ocean and there won’t be fireworks. To be honest, this is doable! Most of the time I travel 3 and a half hours to go to Chicago!

Tickets will be automatically refunded due to this change. There is no need to do anything until you receive an email about this refund. If you traveled for this event and had booked nonrefundable flights or hotels for this event, Insomniac is going to reimburse you for this. To ensure this process goes smoothly, they are asking you to try to cancel your flights and hotels first. In addition, you’ll get a free ticket to any Insomniac festival that isn’t sold out as long as it takes place before the end of 2021.

This isn’t the best, of course, but at least Pasquale is trying to make it work. Honestly, I am impressed by all the work the Insomniac team put into this! Stay tuned into The Festival Voice for your festival news!
