ACL is 25: Old Enough to Have a Real Job, Still Choosing to Party in a Park
Austin City Limits is back for its 25th year! Tickets are on sale now. As always, the festival takes place during the first two weekends of October (Oct 2–4 and Oct 9–11). This is an Austin classic, and for its 25th anniversary, the lineup reflects the festival’s storied success. Held at Zilker Park, the eight stages feature the beautiful backdrop of the stunning Austin skyline.
This year’s headliners are ones you cannot miss! Both weekends will have Charli XCX, Rüfüs Du Sol, Twenty One Pilots, Lorde, and The XX. On weekend one, Skrillex will be joining these powerhouses. On weekend two Kings of Leon will join the party! There is a mix of EDM, Indie Rock, Pop, Blues, R&B, Alternative, and so much more. No matter your music taste, ACL Festival has something for you! Both weekends have unique aspects to their lineups. There are multiple artists that are only playing weekend one, such as Palace, Stella Lefty, Cannons, Rebecca Black, Aaron Rowe, Left Lucid, and more. Weekend two has a number of artists that are only playing the second weekend as well, such as Laszewo, Natasha Bedingfieled, Joe Jordan, Cassandra Coleman, Rum Jungle, Almost Heaven, and more. ACL is not just a music festival but also an opportunity to give back! A portion of every festival ticket sold directly supports Austin’s public parks, trails, and green spaces – raising an astounding $8.4 million in 2024 alone. Since 2006, ACL Festival has generated nearly $71 million towards improvements to Zilker Park and other spaces throughout the city. There are 4 3-day ticket options. GA, GA+, VIP, and Platinum. Each ticket option has payment plans available and is on sale now! GA is your standard ticket to enter and see all the acts you want!
