Rockville Rocked Our Socks Off!
Welcome to Rockville 2026 went the extra mile to make the 15th anniversary special for its fans. The festival found its new home at the Daytona 500 Speedway, 6 years ago, and there has been no glance in the rearview mirror.

Rockville is highly regarded for knowing how to party, especially at the pre-party that went down Wednesday night. Kicked off by Fuel, Adelitas Way, and Local H, they got the weekend started with high-energy performances.
If having five stages for over a hundred and sixty bands to play wasn’t enough, they introduced the K-Pit for a closer, more intimate experience with the fans and artists. The small renegade-like stage featured bands such as Atreyu, Kreator, Paleface Swiss, Wolves at the Gate, and A Day to Remember

The Pit Stop was a new, and well-loved feature this year. Offering much-needed shade, cooling fans, and a safe out-of-the-way area to meet up with members of your group. With bands passing through, attendees shopping for merch and a spot to escape the heat and people-watch, it made for a great addition.
The Pit Stop was also home to Headbanger Happy Hour, hosted by Jose Mangin, where you got the opportunity to watch live interviews with your favorite bands. A real behind-the-scenes look at the artists you love. Bands that were featured included Ice Nine Kills, Zakk Wylde, Seven Dust, and Nonpoint, to name a few.

Garage Stage got a 15,000 sq.ft. tented awning this year, and we found ourselves there more than once; not only to beat the heat but for the smoking hot lineup that was offered each day. Garage Stage lineup included a timeless collection of performances from bands like Sepultura, Dope, Primer 55, and Story of the Year. Sullivan King, an EDM artist who is no stranger to the rock world, closed out the festival with a headlining set Saturday evening. He was a stellar addition to the Rockville lineup.

Inferno Stage and Vortex Stage were no outsiders to the party. Just because they are located by the entrance gate doesn’t mean they can’t hold up against the main stage hype. Inferno stage was indicated with a fire red stage banner for an on-fire lineup over the weekend. A small festival within the festival, with headliners such as Devil Driver, Architects, Polaris, Psychostick, and a special performance from Dragonforce, their first-ever appearance with Alissa White-Gluz as a co-lead singer.

Vortex threw it right back with its bright and vibrant yellow stage banner, the lineup boasting stars like Whitechapel, Waka Flocka Flame, 30H!3, Framing Hanley, and Atreyu. We also saw Slaughter to Prevail perform live on the Vortex stage just days after Alex the Terrible’s big brawl at Blood4Blood.

The heavy hitter stage was Octane. The rock fans’ paradise, Octane Radio’s stage is never going to let you down. We caught acts such as Staind, In Flames, Yelawolf, Lamb of God, and All That Remains. We spent quite a bit of time at this stage throughout the festival. With a tented drink vendor behind the crowd area, you could grab a drink, a seat on the shaded grass, and still enjoy a good view of the show.

Apex stage brings you the biggest names like Poppy, whose set (which was my most anticipated performance of the event) was unfortunately cut short due to weather conditions. Hopefully, she will return next year and finish what she started! Also on Apex, we caught The Warning, an up-and-coming all-female band who returned to Rockville’s lineup this year, alongside classic performers like Alice Cooper, The Offspring, Godsmack, Black Label Society, and Buckcherry, to name a few.

I almost forgot to mention a few names you might recognize, like Bring Me the Horizon, Breaking Benjamin, A Day to Remember, Turnstyle, Guns N’ Roses and My Chemical Romance, who also performed at WTR 2026. We unfortunately missed these sets due to scheduling conflicts/personal preference, but heard they each put on a great show for their respective fans.
Welcome to Rockville provided a variety-filled line-up, with a little something for every music enthusiast. Genres were diverse and inclusive of Classic Rock, Nu-Metal, Hip-Hop, Foreign, Alternative, Punk, and even a little Rock and Roll.

Weather conditions were ever-changing, with Thursday being scorching hot, and rain delays striking in the afternoons for the rest of the weekend. While weather delays are never fun, we passed the time by crossing the street to Five Guys, grabbing a bite, and enjoying the way Welcome to Rockville’s social media manager responded to attendees’ complaints and concerns. With a serious yet humorous approach (when applicable, of course), it was a blast to read the exchanges in the comments and pass the time quickly.
With amusement rides, art exhibits, interactive music stations, and countless celebrities and personalities all over the event, there was never a shortage of things to do! Stars like Rockfeed himself were spotted out and about chatting with the fans multiple times throughout the weekend.

Countless food vendors were on site, with our personal favorite being the Pickle Juice recovery shots, smoothies, and Dole Whip to help us beat the heat.
Aid stations and mobile cars are on site throughout the venue, along with a huge helpful staff to help keep everyone happy, healthy, and safe!
A massive thanks to everyone involved in putting on Rockville, and we can’t wait to return soon!
