All Things Pre-Party and After-Party: Forbidden Kingdom Edition
If you’re like me, then you might be filled with extreme excitement right now as you pack up your things to head to Orlando for Forbidden Kingdom that’s taking place this weekend! This two day fest is jam packed with all the best bass, dubstep, and riddim DJs in the game, so it’s sure to be a weekend of heavy music and headbanging! I know what you might be thinking though, this fest is only two days?! Even though it is technically only two days, there is still a lot going on down in Orlando this weekend and the fun starts Thursday and carries well into Sunday. So let’s talk all things pre-party and after-party to make sure you maximize your time there and have the best weekend possible!
Forbidden Kingdom is hosting all their official parties at The Vanguard, aka Downtown Orlando’s new entertainment destination. They begin the festivities Thursday at 9pm with a pre-party headlined by the masked trio, Vulllgur, who is guaranteed to bring a gritty atmosphere with their horror-twisted riddim. This pre-party also has support from fellow filthy riddim artists Pyke, Mad Dubz b2b Nimba, Crysomemore, and Ctrl-Q, who are all sure to bring some absolutely fire sets.
FKMF’s official after party on Friday has none other than Subtronics headlining it. And let’s be real, has Subtronics ever put on a bad show… I think not! This after party is going to be one you don’t want to miss as Jesse continues to be the blueprint for dubstep music and bring us insane sets. If Subtronics headlining wasn’t enough to get you hooked on this after, they also have support from- what’s to be an insane b2b- with HE$H and Chibs, and also support from Tink and Inqu. Let’s get down and dirty with this stacked after starting at 10pm.
On Saturday, the afterparty lineup yet again doesn’t miss with headliners Virtual Riot and Jessica Audiffred. German DJ and music producer, Virtual Riot, is sure to bring us that dreamy wubwub vibe, while Mexico City’s queen of bass, Jessica Audiffred, is guaranteed to throw down. They will have support from Sloth and Vicky B starting at 10pm. Let’s bring day two of Forbidden Kingdom to an amazing close with these artists.
Even though the festival ends on Saturday, Forbidden Kingdom is also hosting a recovery party on Sunday at 9pm. So if you’re still ready to rage and you don’t want the weekend to end, then join the party as headliner, Tape B- known for his nostalgic and unique sounds- closes out the weekend with a bang. There will also be support from artists Effin and OkayJake.
As you can see, even though the festival is technically only on Friday and Saturday, there is going to be A LOT going on this whole weekend.
