Happy Friday, August 13th! Or maybe I shouldn’t say happy because it is Friday the 13th. I’m excited to share all of the new music and tracks with you!! I wanted to leave a quick note, the next two weeks might be a bit late because it is festival season! FINALLY! I’m covering Summer Camp Music Festival next weekend and then going to Kosmic Kingdom the following weekend. I can’t believe it is finally here!!! Amuse

Serhat Durmus- Arres Acoustic

Turkish bass producer Serhat Durmus released his debut album ‘Arres’ in June on Amuse to much acclaim. Today, he has unveiled an acoustic version of the album’s title track, played by a string quartet and pianist at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. The acoustic version is paired with a video of the recording process, a unique perspective on how Serhat’s songwriting translates across a wide spectrum of genres and instrumentation. The strings were arranged by composer Henrik Lindström, who conducts the strings and also plays accompanying piano in the video.

Anyasa- Gaya EP

Anyasa (aka Anish Sood) releases his debut four-track EP ‘Gaya’, following the first single ‘Rasiya’ released on July 28th, marking the beginning of his transition to a new artist name and signature sound.
 
‘Gaya EP’ sets the tone for Anish’s new style which is a unique blend of electronic production that has become his trademark over the past decade and Indian classical vocals that represent his roots. Gaya, a derivation from ‘Gaia’ the Greek goddess of Mother Earth, is an ode to feminine energy, the raw creative force from which all artistry is born.

Today, German dance music legend ATB releases his brand new single ‘Like That’, featuring LA-based artist Ben Samama.
 
Punctuated by Samama’s soaring vocals,  ‘Like That’ is an emotion-drenched modern dance jam that juxtaposes idyllic guitar riffs with an infectious bassline. It follows ‘Your Love (9pm)’, ATB’s recent smash collaboration with fellow German DJ Topic and Swedish artist A7S that has surpassed a whopping 470 million global Spotify streams and received the remix treatment from none other than Tiësto.

An evocative single about a relationship falling apart, “Treading Water” is the latest single from the electronic pop act Said The Sky. 
 
The music video is the second in a series and follows the video for “We Know Who We Are” which depicts a group of misfits hanging around LA, and introduces a couple starting a new relationship. That same couple is featured in the video for “Treading Water,” but this time with lyrics of a heartbreaking and tumultuous relationship, cut together with scenes of both intimacy and upset. “Treading Water” shows off Said The Sky’s beloved melancholy melodic production, which pairs perfectly with the song’s poignant vocals.

Paraleven- Lucid (Icarus Remix)
