Cascade Is Bringing PRETTY LIGHTS!

The newest camping festival on the block, Cascade Equinox announces electro-soul pioneer Pretty Lights as first headliner!

The genius minds that curate Gem & Jam and 4 Peaks are collaborating to produce the first-ever Cascade Equinox Festival, a new groundbreaking camping festival. Its debut nesting grounds are Deschutes County Fairgrounds in Redmond, OR from Friday, September 22 – Sunday, September 24, 2023. With trees, creeks, and views of snow-capped mountains, the vast environment is deeply immersive and unlike any other. The best part though? The first headliner they announced is the long-awaited return of Pretty Lights!!! Along with a whole host of incredible, world-famous artists, this festival is is already blowing my mind and it hasn’t even happened yet!

After a five-year break, that felt so much longer than 5 years, electro-soul pioneer Pretty Lights will be headlining the Cascade Equinox Festival as his only Pacific Northwest performance on his Soundship Spacesystem Tour.

The rest of the lineup is just as incredible, and feels like an echo of the beautiful Oregon location, with a diverse mixing of jam, electronic, funk, soul and bluegrass acts. The list starts out with world-renowned artist Big Wild, funky psychedelic duo Phantogram, the jaw-dropping bass act Of The Trees, and ground-breaking producer Emancipator. On the Bluegrass side of things you can catch acts from Goose, Trevor Hall & The Great In Between, and Oregon based folk-rock band Fruition.

The fun doesn’t end there! Cascade is bringing even more incredible live acts like electro blues-grass duo Dirtwire, bass-visionary Opiuo, LP Giobbi (performing a Dead House set), and rhythm superstar Manic Focus. One of my all time favorite duos Moontricks, will also be bringing their soothing yet energizing sounds. Be sure to also catch acts from Maddy O’Neal, Tripp St., Frameworks, Christain Martin, and Josh Teed. I am also really interested to check out sets from Mz. Worthy, guitarist/producer Phyphr, Tara Brooks, and funky producer/multi-instrumentalist Vincent Antone. With so many incredible acts and artists, I hope I will be able to catch them all!

Looking at the festivals the curators have thrown in the past, this one is certain to be world-class. Not only for the headliners, but there will be vendors, workshops, healing sanctuary, kid zones, rides, food, beer and wine tasting, yoga, and live interactive art installations. Another great feature to look out for is a full local stage offering acts from local Pacific Northwest talent!  Follow the festival’s official Instagram to stay posted on additional information and details leading up to the show!
