Kasablanca, the enigmatic melodic techno duo, exploded onto the scene in summer 2020 with their Lane 8 collaboration, ‘Run’, a bonafide hit for both artists. As of January 2022, it’s been streamed nearly 18 million times on Spotify and charted at #1 on SiriusXM BPM.

Distinguished Utrecht-based duo Tinlicker (Micha Heyboer and Jordi van Achthoven) are proud to release their second studio album ‘In Another Lifetime’ via independent record label Anjunadeep. The album follows the release of ‘Be Here and Now’, ‘You Take My Hand’, ‘Just To Hear You Say’, and ‘Healing Forest’, which have been championed by the likes of Pete Tong, Diplo, Gary Jamze, and John Digweed, along with tastemaker stations such as BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, and SiriusXM.
3LAU- IRIDESCENT EP
Releasing these instrumentals after the initial NFT drop is part of 3LAU’s exploration around how to add value to collecting music beyond the music itself. Token holders will own 100% of master and publishing rights to each song on the EP, which means they will receive 100% of all income generated from the release.
The next offering from the Circoloco Records imprint (the collaborative record label project from Rockstar Games and nightlife icons CircoLoco) is a 3-track EP headed up by LA-based artist and producer, NEZ. Here his signature blend of Hip-Hop and House can be traced across the EP’s three heavy-hitting tracks, with a style synonymous of the Chicago-born artist. CLR 002 also features guest appearances from Moodymann, ScHoolboy Q, and Gansta Boo.

Praga Khan- Breakfast in Vegas (Sander van Doorn Remix)
Sander van Doorn is back this year with an updated new take on venerated musician Praga Khan’s masterpiece ‘Breakfast in Vegas’. The hard-hitting, acid-laden song was initially released as the first track on his album ‘Twenty First Century Skin’ back in 2000, and has held up over the years as his 2nd most-streamed song via Spotify to-date. The latest tune to come from Sander directly follows up ‘Raindrops’ with Chacel, Macon, and SELVA from earlier last month. Out now via his very-own imprint Doorn Records, ‘Breakfast in Vegas’ is available to listen to across all streaming platforms.
Justin Jay- VOYAGER001 Mixtape
Headed into 2022, we find Justin exploring newfound interests and a return to conceptual, thematic releases with the VOYAGER Mixtape. Here Justin leads his imprint into “Nu-Rave,” a sonic world of fast-paced production combining modern sensibilities with old-school rave nostalgia. Dreamers and dancers alike can experience a melting pot of styles that span footwork, breaks, happy hardcore and more. Those who have seen Justin recognize his unrelenting ability to break these tracks out in unsuspecting environs, always with a smile on his face and a feeling of open-mindedness in tow.
Avision- Party Started (Set It Off)
The NYC-bred producer has been making waves in the techno scene, having garnered support from a growing list of heavyweights including Adam Beyer, Nicole Moudaber, Chris Liebing, Maceo Plex, the Martinez Brothers and more. He’s also been making the rounds at some of the most prominent clubs and festivals around the globe, including his recent debut at EDC Las Vegas last year.
Somatoast- Creation is Creation
Creation is Creation, out February 25th on Gravitas Recordings, is a philosophical inquiry regarding the alchemy of creativity. Inspired by nature, Somatoast makes use of the natural world to serve technical, musical purposes. Seeds pods make shakers and icicles are a percussive ensemble. This electro-acoustic fusion spans six original tracks and four remixes– marking another unique development in Somatoast’s ever-evolving sound.
Matroda- Gotta Let You Go / Touchin’ Me
The Croatian powerhouse is continuing to prove he can’t be put into a box. During his run of singles for Insomniac alone, he’s blown through pumping piano house, brooding progressive grooves, and beefy bassline business without breaking a sweat. He maintains that same energy on his latest offering. The title single “Gotta Let You Go” is a deceptively upbeat piano-fueled number that makes use of a popular vocal hook about needing to cut ties with a love that has faded out. On the backside, “Touchin’ Me” finds him employing a tougher tech mentality through a dark, punchy lead that doesn’t know how to quit.
King Garbage- Monster Truck
Ipecac Recordings and contemporary American soul band King Garbage are pleased to present “Monster Truck,” the latest single to be lifted from the band’s album Heavy Metal Greasy Love. The album will be released on April 1 and is available to pre-order now here. Digital pre-orders include downloads of pre-release singles “Busy On A Saturday Night,” “Piper” and “Peanut Butter Kisses.”
Bottled Up- Grand Bizzare
The band is sharing “Heart & Soul” the first single to be lifted from the forthcoming release.“Heart and Soul,” is a creamy, surf-rocky piece that coasts like a longboard down a busy freeway. Ripped from Bottled Up’s Nikhil Rao’s fascination with the way that his native Californian coasts burn all summer in what looks like scenes out of ‘Armageddon,’ Rao’s chants meet his honey-voiced choral section (vocalists Chloe M and Shayla Ragimov) in what feels like a holy cross between the B-52’s and the Dirty Projectors. It’s that classic Bottled Up tension again: caterwauling from tight to loose, yanking from the macro to the micro — a jittery restlessness that makes terror of being alive a little more interesting.
Ace Aura- Umbra feat. Voicians
Following a breakout year, melodic riddim producer Ace Aura returned to Monstercat today with his fiery new single, “UMBRA” featuring vocalist Voicians. Originally intended to be a remix, “UMBRA” was deconstructed and transformed into the speaker-busting single it is now. The colourful synths, warm chords, and angsty vocals blend perfectly together, building tension before the drop. Ace’s refined production stylings are on full display as the vibrant chord stabs and bright arpeggiators complement the aggressive drums and gritty bass growls. With its high-octane energy and forward-thinking melodies, “UMBRA” is a testament to Ace’s meticulous attention to detail and mastery of his craft.
Feint & R7CKY – Lost & Found (feat. Skyelle)
UK drum and bass producer Feint today joined forces with Chinese artist R7CKY and singer-songwriter Skyelle for their new compelling single, “Lost & Found” on Monstercat. Bridging the cultural gap between the East and West, Feint’s joint effort with R7CKY is an amalgamation of each artist’s distinct styles. “Lost & Found” surrounds orchestral chords with liquified trills, all while Skyelle’s uplifting cadence carries the tune through billowing soundscapes. Utilizing soul-stirring build-ups and jubilant breakdowns, “Lost & Found” reminds listeners to find and nurture their best selves, no matter how lost they may feel.

The overarching theme in the past releases has been Jordan emphasizing on the feeling of letting go and partying. ‘Out Of My Mind’ expresses the feeling that lots of people are having at the moment; the time has finally come to go crazy, leave all the misery of restrictions behind us and go completely out of our minds to music.
