Frankie Bones: The Godfather Of PLUR & The EDM Scene

Frankie Bones is a living legend and needs no introduction. His name is known and spoken by ravers old and new from coast to coast. But if you don’t know Frankie Bones yet, you should know that he is one of the grandfathers of the modern rave movement, an OG Techno producer/DJ who brought warehouse raves from the UK to the US in 1989, and he’s also the creator of PLUR.

Few people have been as influential in the development of the electronic music scene as the legendary Frankie Bones. The Festival Voice managed to get an exclusive interview with Frankie and dove into the fascinatingly dangerous story about the creation of PLUR, and how one night in the early 1990s changed the course of history for generations to come and the entire underground EDM culture in America.
