Icelantic Winter on the Rocks: Keepin’ the Rocks warm
The iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater is well renowned across the globe for it’s breathtakingly natural composition and beauty, located in colorful Colorado. Many artists have come to play here and have been humbled to be playing at the impeccable venue, as attendees in conjunction travel from all over to see their favorite artists in one of the best venues in the world. Well, now that the warmth of summer has faded, many people do not realize there’s an amazing festival put on every year at Red Rocks by Icelantic Skis! This year the festival will be taking place on February 1, 2019, and they will be bringing a hip hop and funk n’ soul feel to that chilly mountain air this year with all the good vibes.
If you think shows in the cold are a no-go for you, I highly recommend you give a try! It’s quite beautiful and the vibes of keeping warm together with your crew and the people around you to good music is an untouchable experience. This years lineup is made of all the good things in life with Atmosphere keepin’ you toasty with that sunshine that comes from the soul; and their music of course! Icelantic Winter on the Rocks will also have De La Soul bring a fun funky beat to the party. You’ll be bumpin’ all night long. Watsky has a fun and more eclectic fling with hip hop that will be quite refreshing to your ears. Lastly, They will also have Living Legends hitting the stage and bringing back some music I’m sure all of us remember and bring some of the new stuff. Icelantic Winter on the Rocks will also be bringing a special guest that will be revealed with one of the last two artists to share their set. I don’t think they will disappoint with their special guest if I had to guess.
This festival will also include Icelantic ski show cases, as well as other specialty gear, products, and attire. Art is also going to be a huge part of the festival as well as community and connection. Icelantic says this is their biggest event they have every year as a way to give thanks and also to connect and help their community. Thanks for the sick event Icelantic!
