Lightning in a Bottle- an Explosive lineup for 2019!

As the sun rises, warming the earth, a community of visionary souls curate a transformative experience unlike any other. Lightning in a Bottle 2019 will take place from May 8th to May 13th in Kern County, California. Like many years before, the team at LiB is bringing unique talent and spectacular artists to their stages. Join the fun at Buena Vista Lake, where you’ll discover a uniquely collaborated space. A place where healing and adventure blossom, and creative imagination produce the impossible.

Jam-packed with incredible performances all weekend long, The Lightning stage, the events head stage, will be showcasing a DJ set from the sibling duo act Disclosure, the electronic jazz group Big Gigantic, based out of Boulder, Colorado and an immersive 3D adventure with Flying Lotus. There will also be a show with the multi-instrumentalist sister group Rising Appalachia, a live band performance from Manchester-based Frameworks, as well as sets from Gramatik, Santigold and more!

For more of a techno vibe, the Woogie stage will feature acts including house artist Lane 8, German artist DJ Koze, techno producer Recondite, and sets with Damian Lazarus, Shiba San and more. The Thunder stage, home to some of the communities largest acts, will be bringing in the bass-heavy sounds of Australia based producer Opiuo, and the upbeat styles of Oakland based producer, The Polish Ambassador. In addition, the Thunder stage will also host acts with ‘glitch-hop’ producer CloZee, the earthy percussion of Desert Dwellers, G Jones, and more. Throughout the weekend, smaller stages such the Grand Artique, The Stacks, Favela, and Compass Music, will also host an array of artists to fit any vibes your feelin’.

Along with the musical talent, LiB is also home to a vast array of artistic, healing and interactive experiences. Experiences including a multitude of workshops, discussions, healing sessions, and cultural gatherings. There are so many opportunities to learn new things, grow with one another and connect with a community that is passionate about sharing the things that are important to them. LIB will also feature live paintings, hands-on art workshops, yoga practices, meditation spaces, and so much more.
