Louis The Child’s Last Tour Stop at UC Berkeley’s Greek Theatre
Louis The Child’s last tour stop at UC Berkeley’s The Greek Theatre concluded the “A Day in the Sun” tour for their newest album, The Sun Comes Up, on November 2nd.
Wrapping up the tour at The Greek Theatre, the show opened as follows:
Daniel Allan- 2:30 PM – 3:15 PM
Wavedash – 3:15 PM – 4:15 PM
Bakermat- 4:15 PM – 5:15 PM
Louis The Child – 5:35 PM – 7:00 PM
The tour had a super cute vibe that fit the Bay Area perfectly. Between opener Bakermat and before Louis The Child began their set, “Here Comes The Sun” by The Beatles united the crowd throughout the theatre through the hums and singing of the chorus.
UC Berkeley’s theatre felt like the perfect end to the Louis The Child tour! Take a look at this snippet of the arena that is posted on The Festival Voice’s Tiktok. The sunset, bubbles, and aesthetic of the Greek theatre made this tour stop appear blissful– which it was!
One thing I love about Bay Area raves is the respect I can feel surrounding each other. Ravers in the Bay Area do not care about fashion or influencer trends like Southern California does in the best way possible! One raver wore a jacket that, on the back, said, “BE YOURSELF, EVERYONE ELSE IS ALREADY TAKEN.”
Overall, the vibe of the event at UC Berkeley’s event was PLUR! Here is one cute video of two ravers that were in attendance at the show:
Most attendees were Gen-Z and millennials scattered throughout the seats and standing next to the stage. Tickets were all access to seats and the GA floor and were not sold out.
While 99% of the event went swell in the standards of PLUR and music, ravers were left confused when the show was set to end at 7:00 PM, but Louis the Child concluded their set and walked off the stage at 6:50 PM. A similar thing happened at the John Summit show in Daly City at The Cow Palace in October 2024. The reason is unknown.
One fan of LTC mentioned this is a duo they have wanted to see for a while, and they were happy with the ticket pricing for the performance they watched!

After 11 years spent touring and headlining festivals, 20-plus charting hits and hundreds of millions of streams, Chicago duo Louis The Child is anything but unseasoned. Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett exude youthful energy, but they’re first and foremost professionals who push the boundaries of what dance-pop can be.
