It’s November 20th! Next week is Thanksgiving for all of our American friends out there. Here at The Festival Voice, we are thankful for all of our readers like you! Thanks for helping our dream grow! Keep it tuned with The Festival Voice for all the latest music news. Just a friendly note- during the holidays, there are typically fewer, if any press releases for the week! At least that was my experience in the past year but as we are still growing- that could change this year!
Josh Pan- float Video
On the heels of his recent “go with the fire” and its accompanying music video, Josh Pan returns to 88rising for “float.” His third release of 2021 following his hit collaboration “Supersonic (My Existence)” with Skrillex, Josh Pan’s “float” is available worldwide. “Float” also features an accompanying music video, and serves as the second and final installation of Josh Pan’s 2-part video series.
William Orbit- Starbeam
Multiple Grammy-award winning writer, composer, producer, and performer William Orbit is considered a pioneer of electronic music and one of contemporary pop’s most innovative artists. He now returns with a 4-track EP ‘Starbeam’ set for release December 1st via Anjunadeep, with the single of the same name out now.
Kavinsky returns with “Renegade” – his first new music since 2013. The track, which features vocals from Cautious Clay, is from the acclaimed French producer’s forthcoming album, Reborn. Combining a dark mood with a thunderous groove, Kavinsky reinvents his trademark sound and offers an update of the French Touch movement on “Renegade.”

Fake Love- Love Me Now
“Love Me Now ” discusses the theme of reassurance in a relationship after a heartbreak, it represents a bittersweet feeling that a person goes through in a toxic relationship. This is Fake Luv’s second track on Blanco Y Negro. Fake Luv gained a ton of support from radio shows & artists on his last release “Falling” which was also under Blanco Y Negro. To keep the dance-pop flow going, Fake Luv decided to make another dance-pop track.

Walker & Royce- Rewind It feat. Dances With White Girls
Renowned house music duo Walker & Royce return to Club Sweat to drop the groove-heavy “Rewind It“, with familiar face Dances With White Girls. Having spent over a decade conquering the underground dance scene, Walker & Royce manifest their experience by converging house styles and sounds to fashion a tune that is equal parts smooth as it is likely to torch a dancefloor. Opening with distorted vocals, and tasty high hats, “Rewind It“ quickly transitions into the ultimate tech-heater, with a deep-driving bassline that serves the sensual and seductive vocals of Dances With White Girls up on a platter. Flaunting their technical versatility, the single’s rhythmic horn breakdown creatively lures in rave goers, leading into trademark Walker & Royce warped and shooting synth lines. Acknowledging their integral place in the world of house music, the track aptly states “we are the sound of the underground”, with “Rewind It“ cementing that undeniable fact.
GRiZ & Subtronics- Griztronics Vol. II (Another Level)
After teasing fans all year during their live festival sets, bass music legends GRiZ and Subtronics today release “Griztonics II (Another Level)” the long-awaited sequel to their 2019 collaboration.
Following the wild success of “Griztronics”, which saw the track create a viral TikTok trend and become featured in Fortnite, GRiZ and Subtronics’ most recent effort certainly lives up to the well-deserved hype. A two year long journey in the making, the track saw many different forms before reaching its final version, which fans may have a sneak preview of if they’ve been to a GRiZ or Subtronics performance in the past year.
Mikey Lion- I Like To Go Out
As the music industry inches closer to the holidays and New Years, Mikey Lion and his colorful Desert Hearts outfit plan to keep the festivities going. Next Friday, November 19th, Mikey Lion unveils his latest single, “I Like To Go Out,” an exhilarating party tune tributed towards the club scene and the community’s ability to reunite.
Wax Motif- Koalack
Australian bass-house maestro Wax Motif has unleashed his hypnotizing single “Koalack” from his forthcoming debut album, HARD STREET.
Wax Motif is known for imbuing tracks with booming, intoxicating bass-riffs, but the producer pivots away from his career-defining sound on “Koalack,” in favor of a more placid sonic landscape.
David Morales & Elle Cato- I Feel Love
Setting the tone with rhythmic percussion and a rolling bassline, Morales enlists Elle Cato’s enchanting vocals to emulate the original’s hypnotic energy. Making an impact in his recent performances around the world, as well as his Sunday Mass Twitch shows, I Feel Love embraces classic and contemporary sounds, resulting in a timeless production that resonates with all generations.

Inching closer to his debut album on HARD Recs, the Brooklyn-based producer Nitepunk is pushing the envelope even further on his latest single “I’m Not Yours and You’re Not Mine.” Linking up with singer-songwriter Yianna, the moody track is engulfed in lustful emotions as it sweeps through her velvety vocals and his gritty, forward-thinking beat. The vibes are elite!
DRAMA- First Christmas
DRAMA, the Chicago-based duo of producer Na’el Shehade and vocalist Via Rosa are best known for rewriting the rules of the love song, reimagining the genre with a euphoric melancholy for today’s lovestruck dancefloors. This Holiday Season DRAMA puts their spin on another tradition, with the beautifully delivered ‘First Christmas’.

Hot off their last release “Magma,” dynamic duo Pixel Terror returned to Monstercat today accompanied by renowned dubstep producer Spag Heddy for their speaker-busting single, “Carbonara.” A debut collaboration long in the making, “Carbonara” is the perfect fusion of both artists’ high-octane production styles. Spag Heddy’s hard-hitting basses, thumping drums, and guttural growls drive the track forward, while Pixel Terror’s signature arcade-inspired synths and glitchy chord stabs add a unique melodic layer to the track.

RÜFÜS DU SOL has just released the official remix to their recent album heater ‘I Don’t Wanna Leave’ from melodic tech titan, Innellea. Out now on Rose Avenue and Reprise / Warner Records, the remix follows a career milestone for the Australian live-electronic trio during their US tour, coming off 70,000 tickets sold at Los Angeles’ Banc of California stadium.
Aspyer – Our Time
STMPD frequenter Aspyer is back with another banger ‘Our Time’. Inspired by old school sounds, Aspyer started to look into sources with retro music and tried to catch the vibe of that time. Especially the atmosphere of 60s and 70s music was something he wanted to capture. Working on finding the right elements to decorate this idea, Aspyer experimented for quite some time to reach his goal of creating a track where retro elements would sound fresh and perfectly fit the general atmosphere. And he sure found all the components and put them together on ‘Our Time’. The lyrics were inspired by a very old speech from a radio host where the main phrase is ‘’Everytime Is Our Time’’.
Florian Picasso – YUME
Florian Picasso is unleashing the second release of his upcoming ‘Héritage EP’, ‘YUME’. The story-based EP that combines both art and music is coming into shape with the new music video. At the end of ‘Far Away’ Picasso left the desert through a door and arrived in a dark forest. This is exactly where the video for ‘YUME’ picks up. A walk through the forest leads him to another artist who is painting. The end of the video sees Picasso stepping through a door into an arena in bright sunlight, where undoubtedly the next chapter of the story will take place.
Zonderling – Verwarring
Another one for Zonderling! ‘Verwarring’ is their third release in a timespan of just two months. The tracks all seem to have a connection with each other, but an official announcement has not been made yet.
Rony Seikaly & Diddy- Won’t Stop Now
Rony Seikaly and Diddy have been friends and neighbors in Miami for some time now. In fact, Diddy has been known to drop by Rony’s club nights at his home on Star Island. So when Rony told Diddy that he was working on his debut album, naturally it made sense for them to finally collaborate. Now, they’ve released Won’t Stop Now, a brooding house track that pairs Diddy’s braggadocious swagger to Rony’s immaculate production.

Dom Dolla & Mansionair- Strangers
