Eli 07- 15 Miles
I’m an 18-year-old artist from Berrien Springs, Michigan. When growing up, you could find 6-year-old me sitting next to the radio flipping through channels and listening to everything that I possibly could. When people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would say “A Superstar”. It wasn’t until late into my junior year of high school that I started making music. It all started when my friends and I were bored and tried to make a song for fun. I realized I really enjoyed doing this and continued with the best dude in all of Berrien Springs. My friend Felipe Navia! I would record a track and then send it to Felipe to edit the vocals. 6 months into making music people were feelin’ the music and we got addicted to just creating. I started posting on TikTok regularly and gained the attention of many different people. In my senior year of high school, I accepted that music was what drove me and what I wanted to do with my life. Just recently I signed a record deal with an great indie label and I’m excited to see what comes next.

Matching the stripped back tone of the song, Leah also releases the stunning visual for the track. Watch it HERE. Simply set in a dreamy bedroom, the songstress floats like a cloud through the verses of the ballad, as the guitar builds into the chorus, “does it sting for you, when I sing for you?” Once again proving her resilience, she hits home the meaning of the song with the line, “feel so damn good in my skin. So hot in the state I’m in, without you.”

It also comes alongside a part-animation music video directed by Yanran Zhu and animated by Shiyi Li and Stephanie Kuse, featuring a synthetic and surreal metaverse in the form of a cyberspace country club (not without a dystopian prison, ruled by the ‘king of the country club’ himself, portrayed both in life and later death by bandleader Pascal Huot).
British Indian rock artist Pryti has released an affecting new single “Teardrops”, which will also feature on her forthcoming album Searching for Now Lost in Again. Pryti has announced that the album will be out November 11th via her own Welcome To Pariahville Records. The new track “is about dealing with things you can’t change,” says Pryti, “feeling lost and letting it out, letting the Teardops fall. I’m Hindu and it was really nice to incorporate my faith into this song. Shani is Saturn the taskmaster who tests you and judges you on your actions and Shiva is the Hindu God.”

The Desert Island Big Band- Monuments
You would be forgiven for thinking The Desert Island Big Band were a 5 piece group from the southern states of the US, but this is not the case. Much like Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, Canada’s Stefan Jurewicz is the mastermind behind the project who has led the music of the Desert Island Big Band to be as stylistically diverse as his production catalog, while still retaining a distinct overarching identity.
New Release Monuments exemplifies this as Jurewicz meshes moody guitar tones with melodies that keep the ears engaged from start to finish, threading the line perfectly between accessibility, and credibility. In the alternative-rock track, The Desert Island Big Band also manage to bridge the gap between freedom of solitude, and the weight of isolation, by acknowledging that perspectives ebb and flow like the tide; that drowning and drying off can happen in the same place.

Recorded around the same time as the material that ended up on his breakthrough LP Uncommon Weather, it contains some of the best examples of Glenn Donaldson’s melancholy but wry take on indie pop. Needless to say, it’s terrific.

Now, Venessa Michaels is expanding her sphere even further as she gears up to release her debut LP, Sent From Saturn – a full-length project that promises to exhilarate listeners with a lavish mix of house, pop, tech-house, breakbeat, and more.

After the internationally lauded release of their seventh studio long player UUUU back in May, and an intensive album tour that’s seen them entertain audiences at some of the most prestigious parties and festivals across Europe and North America, Danish live outfit WhoMadeWho now looks to breathe renewed life into one of the standout tracks from the album, as they enlist the one and only Jennifer Cardini to put their inimitable spin on Everyday.
Young Culture- Whiskey
Equal Vision Records and New York-based pop-punk trio Young Culture are excited to present “Whiskey,” the latest single to be lifted from the Friday, November 11 release of You Had To Be There, the band’s forthcoming full-length album (pre-order and pre-save HERE). A moment on the upcoming LP that parts ways with the band’s fiery brand of uplifting pop-punk for a more plaintive, country-leaning ballad about the pains of missing someone, “Whiskey” is yet another example why You Had To Be There is shaping up to be one of the most exciting rock records of 2022.
