Artist Biography

girl in red, aka Marie Ulven, is a Norwegian bedroom pop singer/songwriter. She started writing songs in 2015 at the age of 16. Two years later she shared her first song “I Wanna Be Your Girlfriend” which was featured on NRK Urørt and helped propel her career. girl in red started uploading about a song a month with her tracks getting millions of streams by the end of 2018. In 2018, she released the Chapter 1 EP and had the single “We Fell in Love in October” land at number 14 on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs Chart. Her follow-up EP Chapter 2 arrived in 2019. Two years later, she released her first album if i could make it go quiet which landed in the Top Ten in Norway, the U.K., and Australia. It even reached the top half of the U.S. Billboard 200. The album included the Top 20 Billboard Alternative track “Serotonin” which was produced by Finneas.
