Artist Biography

Devon Gilfillian is a singer/songwriter that combines gritty blues, gospel, R&B, and hip-hop into his own vibe. Devon grew up in Philadelphia with a wedding singer mom. He was surrounded by music and took a liking to a wide range of styles, from Motown to classic rock. He started playing guitar at age 14 and continued in college at West Chester University where he led various bands. Devon earned a psychology degree and relocated to Nashville via placement through AmeriCorps. He quickly immersed himself in the city’s gigging culture with a newly formed band and made a reputation around town as a gifted musician. In 2016, he released his debut self-titled EP which put him on the map as it landed him a deal with Capitol Records. Two years later Devon found himself touring with the likes of Keith Urban, Mavis Staples, and the Fray. Following his domestic touring came an international tour to Africa and Scandinavia. He has continued to grow as a musician with his latest album Love You Anyway arriving in 2023.
