Artist Biography
Audrey Hobert is the New York City–born singer‑songwriter whose evolution from television staff writer and behind‑the‑scenes pop collaborator into a sharply crafted voice of modern alternative pop reflects a rare blend of narrative precision, production nuance, and lyrical wit. After graduating from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and working in scripted television, Hobert pivoted into songwriting in 2024, co‑writing multiple tracks on Gracie Abrams’s acclaimed The Secret of Us — including the chart‑topping “That’s So True” — and demonstrating a facility for emotionally textured pop writing that balances vulnerability with cinematic insight. Signed to RCA Records, she released her debut single “Sue Me” in 2025, followed by her first full album Who’s the Clown?, where her technical command of pop structure, melodic contouring, and conversational lyricism converges with meticulous studio craftsmanship: layered vocal production, punchy rhythmic design, and intimate yet expansive arrangements that turn personal narratives into communal hooks. In performance and production alike, Hobert applies her screenwriting‑shaped storytelling instincts and precision‑driven musicality to a festival stage, positioning her as an emerging pop innovator whose work marries vulnerability with technical sophistication and cultural immediacy.
