Who’s Coming?!
Shabang 2025 music, arts, and camping festival returns for an 11th year on the beautiful central coast. Transforming Dairy Creek Gold Course with four stages, a stacked lineup, yoga, workshops, immersive art, and food & drinks! I am SO excited to talk about the lineup this year. Featuring indie, EDM, and local artists – this lineup is truly one for the books. Shabang will feature 6 headliners across the two-day festival – the eclectic DJ, Jungle, indie sensations Wallows and Goth Babe, vibey sets from Odd Mob and Kream, and acclaimed singer-songwriter, Briston Maroney.
Not to mention, the festival will have indie pop trio and native Californian, Monday, this year’s hottest emerging breakout indie band, Slow Pulp, indie rock act, The Kilans, LA-based alt-group, Mind’s Eye, and San Diego-based Foxtide. The festival also will also be featuring some underground dance music talents – such as the acclaimed DJ & producer, OMNOM, vocalist Aluna, breakout act, Linska, Serbian-born Kryptogram, and rising house music GUDFELLA.
Some up and coming dance music artists from the scene include Loofy, DLG, RaeCola, and LEISAN. The festival also will showcase the local Battle of the Band winners (TBA), as well as other local artists. You can check out their 10th anniversary lineup here.
How Do I Get Tickets?!
Ticket and camping packages go on sale February 27th at 11 AM PT, giving everybody the chance to experience a truly one-of-a-kind roster of indie, alternative, and electronic artists—all set against the backdrop of idyllic rolling hills for an unforgettable spring weekend. The festival will run Friday, May 2nd from 3pm to 11pm and Saturday, May 3rd, from 2pm to 11pm. You must be 18+ to attend and GA passes begin at $239; will VIP starts at $379.
You also have the added option of camping, in the tree-lined El Chorro Regional Park Campground – which is only a 5 minute walk into the festival. The campground will have access to bathrooms, showers, fire pits, RV hookups – as well as early morning yoga, exclusive acoustic sessions, and the San Luis Obispo Botanical Gardens. What Else To Know?!
Aside from the music, Shabang will continue to offer immersive experiences that will elevate the weekend beyond your typical festival. There will be loads of wellness & movement activities like yoga, sound baths, interactive workshops, a silent disco, and live art installations. The festival will also include pop-up food vendors and drinks!
Shabang has grown from a 20-person DIY college gathering to an annual festival amassing over 10,000 attendees for it’s 10th anniversary in 2024. The festival stays true to it’s roots and mission to uplift both international headliners and local talent.
