What to Expect from the Noise Pop 2025 Music Lineup
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (December 19, 2024) – The organizers behind Noise Pop Festival, the San Francisco Bay Area’s leading independent music and arts event, have just revealed the latest wave of artists set to join the 32nd annual festival. This beloved multi-venue event returns from Thursday, February 20, through Sunday, March 2, 2025, promising an unforgettable celebration of music and art.
Building on the excitement of previously announced acts like American Football, marking the 25th anniversary of their debut LP with a special two-night run at Great American Music Hall (March 1-2); indie sensation Soccer Mommy, headlining The Fillmore following her fall 2024 album release (February 28); and Irish folk band Lankum, showcasing their Mercury Prize-nominated album False Lankum (February 27)—Noise Pop is thrilled to welcome over a dozen new artists to this year’s lineup.
One of the latest additions includes critically acclaimed rapper Danny Brown, who will take the stage at Public Works (February 22) following the release of his highly anticipated sixth studio album Quaranta.
Staying true to its indie roots, Noise Pop Festival 2025 will also feature DIIV, a festival alumnus (2016) who recently unveiled their first album in five years, Frog in Boiling Water. Additionally, The American Analog Set, pioneers of lo-fi rock, return to San Francisco after a 20-year hiatus for two intimate “Magic Hour” performances (February 26-27). The legendary Flamin’ Groovies, a cornerstone of the SF music scene, will also perform on February 22 at 4 Star Theater.
For the seventh consecutive year, Noise Pop partners with SFJAZZ to host a multi-night series featuring exceptional talents like Dani Offline (February 27), Sirintip (February 28), August Lee Stevens (March 1), and MeloDios (March 2), each performing two concerts nightly.
The festival’s Opening Night Party kicks off at Cal Academy of Sciences on Thursday, February 20, with a headlining performance by funk icon DāM-FunK.
