Home Is Where the Desert Hearts Are

With the sad news of Desert Hearts not returning to Lake Perris, many desert goers were bummed and wondering how Desert Hearts would go on. Well, the universe works in mysterious ways. Desert Hearts is coming back bigger than ever! Taking place May 6th and 7th at the LA  Memorial Coliseum, the desert techno and house gods will be bumping, bobbing, and partying it up in the big city.

With big-name artists such as the festival producers themselves (Mikey Lion, Porky, Lee Reynolds, and Marbs), Justin Martin, Dusky, Catz n Dogz, VNSSA, Soulclap, and at least 30 more I don’t see any reason why this festival wouldn’t be popping off.

I admit, I’m just as curious as the next person about how this festival will go about its operations. If you’ve attended Desert Hearts, you know it is a camping festival. Music, vibes, and activities all day and going late into the early morning. Fire spinners, flow artists, live art, and shopping to name a few things were at a constant-go during the festival, which is why I was personally attracted to the festival. Now that Desert Hearts is transitioning into the city with a curfew and I’m sure a volume-cap, it’ll be interesting to see how this festival can accommodate the strict LA live-event regulations. I however have no doubt that this festival will be just as magical as its been every year. You know what they say; “great people make a great party”.

Tickets are still available! Let’s get your boogie on 🙂
