Infinite Structure EP with Shadient

Shadient amplifies his musical voice with Infinite Structure EP

Shadient takes you on a spiritual journey with his new Infinite Structure EP. It is one of those EPs that has its own unique sound. The three-track project plays off Shadient’s experimentation with bass-heavy synths and captivating melodies that will bring listeners to a different state of mind. It’s a little bit trippy and vibey. This marks the third EP in Shadient’s musical portfolio and exhibits the growth of his industrial sound.

“Fade” kicks off the EP by transporting you back to a place of nostalgia. A faded out voice speaks, culminating with a mindblowing euphoric drop to mark the end of another chapter. The second track, “Erode” follows effortlessly, with a crash of earth-shattering bass. Gotta love that bass!  The song places the listener into an energetic trance and leaves with a slow, euphoric melody, relaxing the tension in the body after it endured a bumpy ride.

Prior to the EP release, “Miles of Mind” provided a sneak peek of what to expect stylistically from the project. That was one track I really enjoyed! The track featured the angelic vocals of fknsyd. Her chilling lyrics tug at the heart. This is followed by Shadient surprising us with a spontaneous UK garage beat. Together, they created a song that is hard to forget.

The Past for Shadient

Since releasing his Divide EP last year, London-based Shadient has been refining his sound to gear up for the new EP release. He has made some epic changes! He’s also been working consistently with Wavedash which resulted in their third collaboration “Tung Tiied;” following “Get Wicked” and their remix of RL Grime’s “Era” that gave both artists their break. Check those tracks out!

Before music events were put on hold earlier this year, Shadient had been on the road supporting many superstar DJs. For example, this includes joining friends SLANDER for “The Eye” Tour as well as tagging along with REZZ for her Red Rocks show last September. He’s an up and coming star that is well respected in the music world, obviously! Shadient also performed at Hard’s first debut of Holy Ship! Wrecked and opened for Virtual Self. More recently, he participated in Porter Robinson’s virtual Secret Sky Festival.

All personal proceeds from Shadient’s forthcoming Infinite Structure EP will be split and given directly to Reclaim The Block, North Star Health Collective, and Louisville Community Bail Fund.

ABOUT SHADIENT

Shadient takes inspiration from a variety of primary influences such as Gesaffelstein, Boys Noize, and Aphex Twin. These influences definitely shine through.

On the origin of his artist identity, he says, “It was a name I made in 2015 at college, from the get-go it was this world of ideas I had rushing into my head of metallic and industrial imagery, dark visual aspects, noise and bass leaning music.”

His most recent EP, Divide, was released on Gud Vibrations in 2019. After that, it was then followed up with “Get Wicked” with WAVEDASH. His debut EP in 2017, winter=reality, and single “Collider,” were released on Mat Zo’s highly regarded Mad Zoo label. Additionally, his past releases have charted worldwide on the iTunes Electronic charts and Beatport. His diverse repertoire includes official remixes for RL Grime, Excision, The Mary Nixons (The Knocks and Mat Zo), The M Machine, and most recently, he released a gritty remix of PLS&TY’s “Summer’s Young” featuring Dia Frampton.

Don’t forget, all EP proceeds will be split and donated to Reclaim The Block, North Star Health Collective & Louisville Community Bail Fund. What an awesome way to enjoy the music you love!
