Ira Wolf- Find Less

Ira processes life’s ups and downs and alchemizes them into fascinating folk with alternative experimentation and unassuming pop appeal. Much like how she travels the world in her trusty van, the music sonically echoes a sense of nomadic freedom, while it lyrically channels the intimacy of her own little world.

Earmarking Ira’s journey, “Find Less” came at the end of the process. Over lithely plucked acoustic guitar, she undergoes a transformation projected aloud in her biting lyrics.”Find Less” draws from feeling insecure about being ‘too much’ and processing heavy emotions of anger and bitterness. “If someone says you’re too much enough times, you might start to believe it. I did…..For years I practiced making myself smaller. I’d been told that my voice was too loud, my stature too intimidating, my emotions too big.”

“I found ways of making myself smaller so as not to take up space or be ‘too much’ for other people,” she admits. “A year removed from the relationship, I was feeling more confident. I was returning to who I was beyond being someone’s partner. I basically wanted to say, ‘If you think I’m too much, go find less’.”

Reid Jenkins- Last Love

This new catalog of music is a striking and stunning statement of intent from the rising singer-songwriter. Reid provides intricate songwriting at its best, but with all the glorious messiness that comes from being human. Jenkins tackles heavy and universal themes, aimlessness, malaise, and the general sense that your direction in life might be yet undecided—but he does so with such a gorgeous touch that practically begs for repeat listens, if only to unearth the deeper meanings within.

“Last Love” is a luscious, soft, and heartfelt track detailing Reid’s long-distance relationship with his boyfriend deciding to stay in the US or move to another country for his partner. It’s a love song that features stunning harmonies as well as a beautiful string section.
