The Music

Well, it’s that time of the year- festival lineups are dropping like crazy, and we couldn’t be more excited! Today we were blessed with C3’s Voodoo Fest 20th anniversary lineup and it is nothing short of amazing! Some of the headliners this year are Mumford and Sons, Odesza, Childish Gambino, Arctic Monkeys, and Martin Garrix. Taking place October 26th-28th at City Park in New Orleans, this festival is sure to be one for the books!

While everyone loves a good headliner, let’s not forget the undercards! If you love EDM be sure to catch Space Jesus, Clozee, Loudpvck, Shiba San, and Unicorn Fukr. If you like rap, you don’t want to miss 21 Savage or Ty Dolla $ign. Whatever floats your boat, you can likely find it here! What does it for me are the unexpected acts! With the ever-increasing choices of festivals, we have seen an increase in repeat acts and headliners among many major festivals. Voodoo has stepped outside of the box by booking A Perfect Circle, Marilyn Manson, Awolnation, Highly Suspect, and Third Eye Blind.

Voodoo Fest promotes not only music, but art, community, and amazing food! If you want to take a break from the music, you will have a variety of options to choose from! As someone who has attended Voodoo Fest, one of my favorite aspects is the art installations. In between sets and exploring the art and festival grounds, I absolutely love to check out the beer hall. You are definitely sure to drink a cool brew or two!

For those of you who LOVE Halloween, Voodoo Fest is the perfect festival to attend! In a city known for its amazing drinks, cuisine, and culture be sure to check out New Orlean’s haunted houses and infamous cocktail bars (grab a Hurricane, Sazarac, or Frozen Irish coffee) before you hit the festival!
