Household melodic riddim producer Ace Aura took to the deep cut, “Can’t Let You Go,” keeping the ARMNHMR’s signature emotive melodies while adding his colour-bass stylings with bass-melting drops, suited for a heavy-hitting anthem.

In the anime Kara no Kyoukai, the show’s main protagonist is able to see “death lines” in people and objects. She identifies their biggest weak spots and attacks them accordingly. This ability has been the main inspiration for Washington D.C. native singer-songwriter AViT, who, after tearing through the hyperpop scene with explosive electronic-pop tracks such as “twitterloser” (2,000,000+ streams) and “ur the reason im this way” (and collaborating with names such as Jane Remover, d0llywood1, and juno), is expanding their sonic and thematic palette, peering inside themselves to find their own death lines and articulate them to the world through their songwriting.

Brook Pridemore- Wore Me Well
Fresh home from a US tour to a Brooklyn that was silenced by the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, unemployed and unable to play live, Brook Pridemore was overcome with a flurry of middle-of-the-night songwriting. More intimate and unflinchingly honest than anything they’d written before, this batch of nascent songs painted snapshots of the most trying moments of the songwriter’s life: an altercation with a teacher (“The Man Who Tried to Kill Me”), the suicide of a childhood friend (“Learned to Play the Drums”), etc. Pridemore imagined this songbook to be a humble demo, a la Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska.

Around that time, he toured in emo and Americana bands, performing DIY shows around the American West. Watching the livelihoods of the musicians around him take off motivated Nogueiras to aim his ambitions a little higher. “I was, like, ‘oh shit!’ I saw my first taste of what being in a band could be,” Nogueiras says. “That was the first time I was around people that were making cool art and were living on it.”

Young Culture- Good Karma
Equal Vision Records and New York-based pop-punk trio Young Culture are excited to present “Good Karma,” a song co-written by Paul Marc Rousseau from Silverstein and the band’s second offering of 2022 that follows the upbeat and punchy “Tattoo.” “Good Karma,” whose melancholy rush of high-octane energy, looks forward to the future with an extra burst of confidence. “This song is a love letter to New York City,” Alex Magnan of Young Culture explains. “A place where everyone can go to be someone and no one, about investing who you are in a place and sometimes getting nothing in return.”

Zach Tabori- Hard Boiled
Los Angeles based Turkish multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and composer Zach Tabori drops his latest album, Hard Boiled, via Flesh Fury today August 17th, 2022. This 8 track album sees Tabori’s experimental style take on harder, more aggressive and anthemic style rock songs, blending classic foundations of shredding guitar solos with more alternative dreamlike haze productions using piano and vocals. This musical odyssey takes the listener on a journey through a blend of conventional and experimental rock. This album is the second of an Egg based trilogy. While Soft Boiled features an eclectic mix of Zach’s exuberance for Zappa and instrumentals, album Hard Boiled is, well, harder – diving into the core of his love for rock and roll.
