Lakou Mizik & Joseph Ray- No Rival! Video

The fourth single off Lakou Mizik and Joseph Ray’s new album ‘Leave the Bones’, ’No Rival! pays homage to Rara, the music of the Haitian streets. Characterized by frenetic drums and chorused one-note horns, ‘No Rival!’ is full of swagger, just like the bands that march through the towns of the island nation, boasting and toasting and try to outdo one another. ‘No Rival!’ plants a flag in the ground – “Listen up! There’s no better band than Lakou Mizik!”

Spencer Brown & Qrion- Rainy April

First heard three years ago in Spencer Brown’s set at Above & Beyond Group Therapy 300 event in Hong Kong, and then played a year later at Qrion’s performance for Group Therapy 350 in Prague, the pair’s collaborative single ‘Rainy April’ has become a fan favorite, and now gets an official release on Anjunadeep this August.

Fergie- Man from Athens

Fergie is following up the hugely successful chart topper Alpha Centauri with another peak time bomb, be released on Armada the 20th of August. He says,” The inspiration for this track has come from the great Greek composer, Vangelis, who is responsible for legendary sound tracks like Bladerunner which was way ahead of its time. In paying homage to this, while taking things a step further, I’ve created a techno banger which leans heavily on the huge sounds from the CS80 synth that Vangelis made famous.” Man from Athens takes you on a dark, melodic and triumphant dance floor journey.
