Dash Berlin Remixes GATTÜSO’s Walk On Water

Dash Berlin remixes GATTÜSO’s “Walk On Water”

I personally loved the original track, Walk on Water, but now, Dash Berlin remixes the track! Just two months after the release of GATTÜSO’s “Walk On Water”, the song has now been reworked by renowned trance artist, Dash Berlin. I am a huge Dash fan, so this is inspiring to me!

Dash Berlin switches up the original with an unexpected tropical vibe. In addition, he highlighted the track by a fresh spin on Kat Nestel’s soulful vocals. As the song progresses, it gains more of Dash Berlin’s signature uplifting trance synths, eventually leading into an exhilarating drop. While still capturing GATTÜSO’s vision of the track, the remix gives the original a surprising and powerful twist. Loving every second! Dash Berlin remixes are the best!

Thoughts of Dash Berlin Remixes

“I approached ‘Walk On Water’ with strong emotional vocals sung by Kat Nestel that also captivated me personally, with a more prominent big room feel to the production as to where this combination will sweep everybody off their feet and make them feel like they can walk on water.
The kick-stops in my remix are entirely new, I’ve never done this in any production before. It was a little bit experimental, but turned out great!,” Dash Berlin says.

“Even though it was never officially released it was so awesome to see Dash Berlin support his remix of my song “When In Rome” during his sets around the world. I can’t wait until everyone is out playing shows again so we can both showcase this remix as well,” GATTÜSO adds

About GATTÜSO

We’ve heard a lot from our friend GATTÜSO this year! Earlier this year, GATTÜSO inked a brand new label deal with Ultra Music. The first single from the impressive deal was “Walk On Water,” featuring Kat Nestel. It was a gorgeous track! Next, GATTÜSO and R3HAB teamed up for “Creep” – a cover of one of Radiohead’s most iconic tracks. The track was redone with a vocal big-room house vibe, marking the first-ever recording for Spotify’s inaugural “mint Singles” program. This is a companion to its flagship dance playlist, mint, and a spin-off of the popular “Spotify Singles” series, which helped propel the track into an international success. He followed that up with “Life” (a fresh take on the 1999 single written by hit-making singer, Des’ree) which was featured in an episode of the beloved Netflix series “Sex Education Season 2” and skyrocketed to #32 on the Shazam Top 100 globally. This international collaboration is produced in tandem with the Danish duo of multi-award winning composer for film, TV, and advertising, Sorenious Bonk and singer Signe Mansdotter. He’s had a busy year and doesn’t show signs of stopping!

For eight consecutive years, Dash Berlin has been in the top 20 of the well-known DJ Mag Top 100 poll of which 3 years in the top 10. 2019 marked a new start for Dash Berlin with Jeffrey Sutorius in full control continuing shows on the mainstage of Ultra Japan shortly followed by shows in Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas and TIME Nightclub in Los Angeles, late 2019.

Dash Berlin continued making new tidal waves again while dancing around the borders of electronic dance music in October 2019 with his remix for Myon feat. Icon’s ‘Cold Summer’ released on Thrive/Capitol Records labeled as a new genre  “ElectroProgPop.” Thus far in 2020, Dash Berlin has provided remixes for Sam Feldt fat.
