Above & Beyond – Screwdriver (Jono’s Summer of 1995 Mix)
A star act within the Anjuna label family (an A&R hotbed that is home to stars such as Ben Böhmer, Yotto, and Mat Zo), Andrew Bayer has released multiple critically acclaimed LPs, earned 2 Grammy nominations for his work with dance music icons Above & Beyond and played major festivals around the world from Creamfields, Electric Zoo and Electric Daisy Carnival. His genre-bending music has encompassed everything from atmospheric downtempo and Anjunadeep-released deep house to jagged glitchy electro and his trademark cutting-edge anthemic trance. Drawing influence from the indie and alternative worlds while slaying the biggest EDM stages around, he is a dance music outlier in the vein of electronic music iconoclasts Porter Robinson, Madeon, and fellow Anjunabeats alumni Mat Zo.

Xtra Mile Recordings and “Yacht Punks” Bandaid Brigade are excited to present “Perfect,” the latest single to be lifted from the Friday, August 26 release of the band’s forthcoming full-length album, Sex Is Terrifying (pre-order). A stomping, feel-good piano-rock anthem, “Perfect” follows the release of carefree album singles “Abacus” and “Hit The Buck.” Bandaid Brigade’s Brian Wahlstrom had the following to share about “Perfect”: “Luckily, due to our miscommunication skills, we accidentally showed up two days early in New Orleans to record the album. We all of a sudden had a few days off to ‘get acclimated’ to the city and write a few more songs in Zach’s living room. [Paul] Rucker had this one in his back pocket, it was perfect.”

Broke Royals- Local Support
Local Support is an album about being brutally honest, savoring small moments, and finding the strength to start over. Despite being the band’s third full length album, in many ways it feels like their debut. For years, the band was putting one foot in front of the other with gigs and writing, it was a grind, albeit a familiar one. After the world came to a screeching halt in 2020 and the dust began to settle, it appeared that not everything should go back to the way it was. Even relationships within Broke Royals were strained, leaving the future of the band feeling uncertain.
