Broke Royals- Local Support

Local Support is an album about being brutally honest, savoring small moments, and finding the strength to start over. Despite being the band’s third full length album, in many ways it feels like their debut. For years, the band was putting one foot in front of the other with gigs and writing, it was a grind, albeit a familiar one.  After the world came to a screeching halt in 2020 and the dust began to settle, it appeared that not everything should go back to the way it was. Even relationships within Broke Royals were strained, leaving the future of the band feeling uncertain.

We’ve found an even better location just 10 minutes’ drive south of Gatwick, so hotels are in abundance. The site consists of 2 stunning fields surrounded by woodlands & a small lake.

The second big change is the date. This year & moving forward, we’re throwing Summer Love Festival two weeks later than last year. This year will be on Saturday 17th September 2022 from 12pm – 11pm. The primary reason for the date change is that the week after August Bank Holiday is the single worst week of the year for events bar none.

Summer Love Festival launched last year on Saturday 5th September 2021. Partners Richard West AKA Mr.C & Steve Whyte AKA Chalk-E-Whyte pulled off a superb event against all the odds & in doing so created a brand-new boutique festival that’s completely unique & fresh. What makes Summer Love Festival unique & unlike any other festival is it marries authentic late 80s underground Acid House Culture with Modern Underground Dance Music Culture effortlessly to provide a boutique festival for discerning adults of all ages who’re into quality lifestyles, specialist dance music & it’s roots & having as much fun as humanly possible.

WATEVA feat. Heleza – Absanté

Introducing a brand new duo on STMPD RCRDS, WATEVA are making their STMPD debut together with Heleza on ‘Absanté’, a hard hitting, melancholic, club oriented track. The track tells the story of a dysfunctional relationship between one person who is at an afterparty and the other who is at home worrying. As a transition from music that has a specific purpose to music that tries to evoka a feeling inside the listener, Absanté is feeding that purpose. Inspired by the creative chakras of the universe, WATEVA represents freedom to make something weird and different, and the results speak for themselves.

The 8-track ambient album, released on Anjunadeep’s new sister label Reflections, may seem like a departure from Yotto’s usual style, but he’s always made music like this. With Reflections, he finally found a home for it.
